I'm keeping the pre-order. It's basically $15 per movie which is fine by me.
But I also expect at least one or two of these to drop in price before release day. I wouldn't be surprised if Tinkerbell drops to $19.99 and Christmas Carol is under $25.

Don't forget TOYS R US has it where you can preorder in store and pay $10 down and when you pick it up you get a $10 TOYS R US gift card for preordering (which you can use towards another preorder or whatever)

I pre-ordered at TRU. They have been around $30 for new release Disney combo packs. So $10 off, plus a $10 gift card for B&TB makes sense.

oh, u get tinkerbell preorder $10 off & a $10gift card. add, man. coupon = 11 appox. so batb, will be almost be 11approx with another $10preorder down at tinkpick up, minus$10gcard minus $10 man. coupon plus, $10gcard for another movie is this correct?? this is good if i typed it correctly.

Tinker Bell pre-order is $10 down. You get a $10 GC when you pick it up, but I don't think you can use it toward the balance. With the manufacturer's coupon, you're still forking over $20, but you get the GC for use on another item like B&TB on 10/5.
-$10 pre-order deposit
-$20 balance due
-$30
+$10 coupon
-$20
So, for $20 OOP, you walk away with the Blu-ray and a $10 GC.

Yesterday, I went to Target and purchased Prince of Persia (Combo pack) and Barbie - A Fashion Fairytale. At the checkout along with the receipt I received a Target coupon for $5 off Tinkerbell, Tinkerbell Lost Treasure, or Tinkerbell Great Fairy Rescue. I'm guessing that the Prince of Persia purchase triggered the coupon, but who knows.
The nice perk is that both the $10 manufacturer's coupon and the $5 Target coupon can be used on the Great Fairy Rescue.
BTW, the Target coupon expires on 11/01/10

thanks buck & sye. its seems we are all trying to get the best deal but nothing like that toy1& 2 is going on. Its a distance issue for me to toys rus! But, will travel. I was going 2 hit bestbuy with pricematch to walmart, TB-$21.99 online printout, use the manu coupon of $10, =$13.08 & rewards pts. its only 5 miles away. Basically going to do that with the others but i love the thrill of the best deal. I spend hundreds on media each week..need to save pennies to justify my behaviour.
