You are correct. The price is $24.96. The $15.00 is for the other 7 titles. The ad is simular to other store ads. They want you to come to the store to see the price.

Okay, I can see what you're saying now, but I've honestly never been to a walmart b&m store where you could preorder things. They usually don't even have the item # in their systems yet. And if you try bringing that in the day it comes out they could tell you that it's not from the current ad.

I'm not sure if there's any way you can get in on this deal if you've already missed it.

I just got off the phone with "customer support" and they're saying that this was a glitch on the site. It wasn't EVER supposed to be this price. I asked why everybody got a different reason on their cancellation e-mails. She told me that it was a generic e-mail, which completely didn't answer my question, so I asked why I wasn't told the reason reason. "Well, I just told you the real reason" Yeah, but I had to call you to get the straight answer. How is that not just bs'ing your way out of a price?

They just simply don't care. Granted, they're Wal-Mart, so they couldn't care less about getting you a good customer experience.

Edit: Thanks for that info, Gizmo. I just printed off a PDF of the site showing $15 and I'll call them again tomorrow.

Just emailed them my "calling bs on the whole situation" response. I know it won't do any good, but it let me vent a bit while typing.

I told them that those who received a confirmation email on our preorders should be able to go to the store on release day with email in hand, walk up to a pallet FULL of these Blu-rays, and have that price honored since there won't be limited availabilty then.
