This had been sitting in my Amazon cart for a while, waiting for the price to go down.

I almost snatched it when I came across this price tonight...until I found out that the set totally lacks the three audio commentaries from the first film's "Collector's Edition", which I don't yet own...so what, now I've gotta get *both*?

You lose, MGM/Fox.

I'm currently mulling whether to bite or not...I just have a serious feeling of "giving them exactly what they want."

I'd also love to hear Stallone commentaries on *all* of the films, but I guess it's unlikely at this point...

DVD/Blu combos of most of the films seem to be coming in Oct., but I would guess they're not including anything new, eh? Anyone have specs yet?

I feel like at the rate DVDs (and even BDs) are being pared down at places like Best Buy, I don't see many studios revisiting a lot of product for physical releases in the near future, if ever...

not sure what places you are talking about but the bestbuys in L.A. havent been paring down there dvd section in fact the bluray sections continue to grow. same goes for walmart and kmart and target.

I'm in for one. I was going to purchase just Rocky III & IV on Blu-ray, but this is a better deal. Thanks for the heads up.

Just picked it up...can't beat this deal--$5.50 apiece! I would take a disc full of extras and docs in place of ROCKY V though....

But the seventh disc is full of extras... of all the trailers and bonus materials from the second disc of the Rocky: Collector's Edition DVD.

I picked up the set new months ago at $42.99. Even at $7 per title, I felt that it was a steal. I wish we could get extras for Rocky II - IV, but I don't think that's ever going to happen at this point.
