In for High Tension at $7.99. I'll have to wait until Tuesday for in-store pick-up to save the $2.49 shipping charge. Hopefully the $7.99 price will hold until then. Thanks for the link, b2net.

Re: $7.99 Blu-Ray at bestbuy.com
I'm tempted to buy Trick 'r Treat. The problem wis I've never seen it, and it has so many "it's the greatest horror movie since Halloween and Creepshow" type reviews that I'm really suspicious. Mixed in with those are a handful of ones like "the positive reviews are hype and lies from the marketing team from this movie so bad it went straight to video". It's hard to know which to believe. I'm not sure if I want to risk $7.99 on it. If I had gotten in on the WBShop deal for $5 for this BD, I probably would've ordered it, but for $3 more + tax, I don't know.
I only liked the first Halloween (the rest got worse). I liked all of the Nightmare on Elm Streets, even Freddy vs. Jason, and I liked Creepshow 1 (but not 2 except for the lake creature part). I gave up reading reviews on Trick 'r Treat as they seem to be at 1 of 2 extremes, plus they like to mix spoilers in.
Can anyone help me with a more objective opinion on Trick 'r Treat... is it good enough to buy and worth watching more than once or should I just put it on my rental list for a one-time view?

Re: $7.99 Blu-Ray at bestbuy.com
I rented it(T'r T) when it came out last year and thoroughly enjoyed it. Enough that I evidently picked it up for around $10-12, but would have gladly paid more.
If you truly enjoy horror films, it's worth the price imo. If you just occasionally watch horror films, it might be worth a rental. Without giving anything major away, I like how it consist of four short stories that are each connected to the other.
Compared to the bigger budget horror schlock that is released today in theaters, I find that there is alot more value in this film. Don't know if any of this helps or not, but thats just my .02.

Re: $7.99 Blu-Ray at bestbuy.com
I was another that got caught up in the hype of 'TrT' after seeing the trailer before '300'. However, I still thoroughly enjoyed the movie and it is definitely a lot better than the bigger budget horror movies like darkdaze said.
Chalk me up for another person that recommends picking it up for $7.99

Damn, I wish I wouldve seen this post before I went to BB!
I definitely wanna pick up South Park the movie for $10! (damn none of the stores have it in stock... fingers crossed for an Amazon PM)
I'd also pick up Gabriel Iglesias's BD if I can sell the dvd to someone.

Re: $7.99 Blu-Ray at bestbuy.com
The BJ's $5 off coupon is still valid for a couple more days (until 8/31), and they have Trick R Treat there for only 9.99 prior to coupon.....I picked up a copy on Friday for only $4.99, so you might want to check that place out if you feel the $7.99 BB price is too high....

Were these advertised in the Sunday ad/are the prices good all week? I mainly want to know how long the sale will last (if known) to give Amazon time to PM. Thanks.

While crying, I'll mention I don't get any of those Ultimate Electronics BD deals either since the one next to me is movie-less. :-(

Thanks OP. Picked up High Tension and 2001 Maniacs for $21.76 shipped.
Trick 'r Treat was one of my favorite horror movies from the past couple years. I think I paid $20 at release date and it was worth every penny.
