I'm in for Blair Witch, The Score, and Open Water. Good prices.

I don't know how FOX comes up with their pricing for TV on BR, but $44.99 for 13 episodes of Sons of Anarchy seems really high. I saw the MSRP is $69.99, which is crazy. Especially considering you can get 22-24 episodes of NCIS LA or Vampire Diaries for about the same price.

The BB website does list 'Secretary' (albeit without an image) and has a price online of $17.99 with this Sunday (29th) being the release date. So I would say it is very possible that the first weeks price point could well be $9.99.

Thanks OP!
Solid prices that week. Might be in for Blair Witch, Hard Candy and Open Water 1/2

Spoke with the manager at my BB and he confirmed for sure that they would have Secretary and High Tension along with Hard Candy.
Again, this is just really great for me. Not just getting these titles early, but helping spread the damage of BLACK October for me to another month.
I'll look for Anchorman deals around BF.
Not happy to return to BB before work on Tuesday to pick up House, but again with October being so brutal, I'm not wasting the silver member points at Amazon when I can grab some additional RZ certificates.

If I'm not mistaken S1 of Sons of Anarchy on BD was $41.99 during release week. S2 is the same price on Amazon (where I have it pre-ordered).

Loaned my Hard Candy dvd to someone and never got it back so might as well upgrade on that one. In for Blair Witch Project as well.

What a great surprise, had no idea Best Buy would be getting those early exclusives! Definitely picking up Anchorman and will more than likely grab Blair Witch and 2001 Maniacs, at those prices how could I not??

BWP might not be that impressive as it was shot partially on film but a lot was before HD cameras, so its a lot of handheld video that may not be so good in upscaled. If they add new features, that's a better incentive but I doubt the quality is gonna be much better, if at all.

Out of my 3000+ DVD's that I have watched Hard Candy probably has the one best DVD transfer's I have seen. Taking that into account I'm looking forward to a reference quality BD if they don't screw with the transfer.

I suppose I'll be blind buying Hard Candy based on all of these positive reactions and the good price. I hadn't even heard of the film! I'll hold off on Anchorman, though. My HD DVD is just fine for now.

The Open Water double feature is tempting but then again every movie that is cheap is tempting...

My Australian BD looks great. Hard Candy was the first DVD I watched on my HD DVD A1 and it looked awesome upconverted.
