Re: B1G1 WB Blu at Deep Discount
I split an order with my sister. She got Contact (which I already owned on Blu-ray) and I picked up The NeverEnding Story which has been on my high priority wish list since it was released. I never owned the DVD but this was a childhood favorite so I'm hoping it will hold up.
As for the Digibooks, I already own Goodfellas on HD DVD and the North by Northwest Blu-ray (which I received as a gift) so I think I'm set with this sale.

Keep in mind the only difference between the normal Blu-ray release of Goodfellas and the Digibook is the packaging/book itself. There are no new extras and the film still doesn't have a lossless audio track.

That's not true....while the BD disc itself is identical to the earlier release, the digibook version also comes with a second disc (a DVD) that includes a 106 minute documentary on gangster films as well as 31 minutes of Looney Tunes shorts.....

FWIW, a large chunk of these titles can be had for $5 at BJ's Wholesale Club(they are $10 each and there's an active $5 coupon that you can use).

Ordered Secondhand Lions and Nightmare on Elm Street for $21.88
...will probably order Willy Wonka and North by Northwest for $28.71 as well.

Thanks for the information. I guess I was misinformed. Still probably isn't enough for me to ditch my HD DVD though (which I got for $3).

Re: B1G1 WB Blu at Deep Discount
Unless I'm missing something, all the prices went up. The $21.88 titles are $28.95, the $28.71 titles are $34.95, etc. On the first page with the list, they're the same as people previously reported. But once you click on a title, or the "buy now" button, it shows as the higher price. I put two in my cart and went all the way through until the last step and it was still the higher price. Like I said, I could be missing something, I did just finish a 16 hour workday.
