Yeah I just noticed that too. I wasn't sure if it was a glitch or something.

Yeah, the glitch would have been they starting this sale before they jacked up the prices

Yeah, what a bunch of crap. Added four $14.98 titles to my cart, and they all come up as $19.98. Pass.

yeah.. I was trying to figure out how you guys were getting these decent deals. Would have been in for the Matrix and North by Northwest digibooks.. I don't see anything I really want for 15$. I'll wait.

Re: B1G1 WB Blu at Deep Discount

Experience pays off once again with DeepDiscount. I only wanted and ordered 2 BDs from the list for $14.98 total, but I had a sneaking suspicion the prices would change (and sure enough they did) which is why I ordered yesterday afternoon the moment I saw this deal thinking "don't trust them not to change the prices..."

I decided to wait for lower prices on the other BDs as $7.49 each exceeds my price limit for upgrading most of my SDs to BDs.

Prices are back down to what they were yesterday. I just placed an order for The Green Mile and How the West was Won for $28.71.

Re: B1G1 WB Blu at Deep Discount

Does anyone know what the lowest price they've seen Batman 20th Anniversary Digibook go for normally? On the fence whether $14.xx is the best price I could get or should I hold off?

I really only want Willy Wonka since I've not seen that on sale for this low since it came out and in November they are releasing the Blu-ray case version, so I don't want to wait and risk they no longer make the Willy Wonka digibook.

As for the Digibooks, I already own Goodfellas on HD DVD and the North by Northwest Blu-ray (which I received as a gift) so I think I'm set with this sale.
Hope you have a better experience than I did. It was my favorite movie as a kid. Could barely finish it as an adult .

I just watched it last week and it definitely wasn't the classic I remembered but still watchable. When I watched The Goonies on BD I really didn't like it anywhere close to as much as I remembered as a child...almost turned it off.

$14 and change for How the West Was Won digibook is a pretty great price for that title when bought with another. The first BD I bought, the second or third one I watched, and I almost missed all of the opening narration due to my saying "Wow wow wow" over and over again at the screen. Quite possibly the best film-to-BD transfer I've seen so far. Just flat-out jawdropping.

Congrats to everybody getting it at that price.

There are a few $7.81 Blu-Rays in another KIDSBOGO offer. Read about it at:

The only 2 BDs I would've gotten are Happily 'n Ever After and Wallace & Gromit: The Complete Collection, but unfortunately I bought Wallace & Gromit for $9.98 last time they had it on sale mistakenly thinking I got a good deal. It met my

I'm worried about that too. I really want to see How the West Was Won on BD but will I want to see it again? I'm also considering Goodfellas but I wonder if there will there be a remastered version with improved PQ. Decisions, decisions....

The copy of How The West Was Won Blu-ray is always sitting on the shelf at my local library. It's there with about 75% of the Criterion collection.

The local library system has a great selection of DVDs but I don't believe they have a single BD.

Well, I got an email last week saying they cancelled my Happily N'Ever After. I called them up and told them I placed an order during a B1G1 sale and you cancelled my order.
They told me to pick any movie on their site at $15.62 or less.
I told them I don't know what I want yet.
They said we'll make a note on your account and you can call back when you do.
I called them today and told them I Spit On Your Grave (1978) is what I want and they said no problem.
They said it was on backorder and would ship when it came in and I said no problem.
I hope they do come through. Maybe they are finally getting back on track.
Funny you just posted that. After I posted what you quoted, I ended up placing the same order you did figuring Wallace would be a Christmas gift (this is before I knew DD had serious problems and couldn't deliver stuff in a timely manner). Then they finally shipped full price Wallace and canceled my free Happily 'n Ever After. I tried to call them many times on different days and never could get through to a CS rep. I sent them a couple emails which they ignored, so I finally told them I was sending it back. Minutes before I was going to the post office to refuse delivery of it (and a few days after emailing them), they sent me a RMA label which I slapped on the front. We'll see if I get my refund without more hassle.

Somebody else said he wouldn't order from DD again until they get their order status page working. If they ever do that, then I'll try calling them a few times as a test and if I can get a person each time within 5 minutes, then I might consider doing business with them again. Until then I'm done with DD even if they advertise every BD they have on sale for 1 penny each.
