I think anyone can get a raincheck. There were quite a few people getting rainchecks, nobody else looked like they were doing in store pick up. This was at the burbank frys btw

Yeah, rainchecks are standard operating procedure for Fry's in store. If the sale item isn't there they'll give you a raincheck.

I got two myself - for 300 and Public Enemies.

Amazing deals coming from Fry's after months of nothing under $12 or so.

Same here. They didn't have my Hot Fuzz for in-store pickup in stock, even though my confirmation email said otherwise. They did give me a rain check, and offered me additional ones if there was anything else I wanted. Luckily, they gave me one for Apollo 13 too.

Re: Frys.com 7.99 blurays

Picked up my online order of Hot Fuzz, Gran Torino and Role Models, and then grabbed Leon while there. Had to get a rain check for Apollo 13 which was out of stock from my original order. It only took them 20 minutes to locate my in-store pick-up titles set aside after repeatedly telling me that everything was out of stock. Fry's is a nightmare only worth enduring every so often when a deal like this comes around. If I could only find a printed ad for the Fry's sale, I would just go to Best Buy and price match everything.

Re: Frys.com 7.99 blurays

PM'd Coraline at BB w/ the SJ paper. Weird thing was that the SJ paper online showed a page w/ the Resident Evil Ext on sale but the actual paper in hand didnt have that page... very strange. Never seen the online ad not match the printed paper. Oh well, didnt need that one but still was strange.

Re: Frys.com 7.99 blurays

Would somebody be willing to pick some of these up and ship them to me?

* 9
* Love Actually
* Pride & Prejudice
* The Jackal
* The Scorpion King

I've also got stuff for trade, such as Toy Story, Toy Story 2, Monsters Inc, Whip It, and many DVDs. Let me know.

Re: Frys.com 7.99 blurays

The blu-rays were pretty well picked over... I did pick up the entire series of Gurren Lagann for ~$44 as Bandai anime DVDs were Buy-1 Get-1, which is a damn good deal and also Battlefield Bad Company 2 on 360 for $34 (surprisingly they had a TON of copies).

Re: Frys.com 7.99 blurays

9 and Pride & Prejudice are back in stock for shipping, got 'em both for a little over $20 with shipping. Not a bad deal. Now, if only they'd get Love Actually and The Jackal back in stock...
