Re: Amazon - Avatar now $19.95
I "upgraded" from the 4-disc Kingdom of Heaven to the BD a year or two ago.
The audio-video quality is *far* better than the DVD... but I was disappointed in that they removed the overture and intermission, which I thought had some great music and added to the presentation.
No comparison on the extras, the 4-disc DVD wins hands down.

For example, if you ordered for $25 and it later drops to $20, they'll charge you $25 and refund $5 after the official release date.
If the price drops before they charge your credit card, you can email them and they'll adjust the price on your order. That way you don't have to worry about the refunds.

If you're asking about the Pre-Order Price Guarantee, then yes it's normal. They usually charge whatever the price was at the time of your order. Then they refund the price difference right after the official release date. So you'll probably get a refund on Friday.

Re: Amazon - Avatar now $19.95
I don't know if there is a glitch but when I am trying to buy Avatar and Independence day, there are two 3.00 off promotions applied, not just one. So it is 6 dollars off when you buy the two. 26.48 for both.
