Yes it would and that is why you would not be using both coupons but just the $10 coupons and be out the door on Tuesday paying $4 plus tax.

Best you can do on Tuesday not preordering from TRU would be $4 out the door ASSUMING you are able to get them to use BOTH the $10 and $5 but that is a risk of course you take of being able to get.

$4 plus the $10 i'll be paying today. meaning each title would be $7. will the $10 and $5 coupons stack? if so then i'd only be out $4 total. that seems like the better deal.

Yep. Which is why I keep mentioning the filler items if one is going to try to use both coupons (four total). Just pick up another $6 DVD for free on Tuesday.

And again, using more than one coupon per item is YMMV, although TRU has always allowed it generally.

OK, maybe I WON'T pre-order. I'll just try and take a very early lunch.

So if we pre-order, we get $20 towards another Disney title today? Will we be able to use the $10 upgrade coupons?

Yes and yes. You use the upgrade coupons when you pick up the TS combo packs.

I understand people not pre-ordering if TRU is out of their way. But if it's close and you're going to buy TS 1&2 there anyway, why not take a free $20 today?

Re: Save $10.00 off Toy Story & Toy Story 2 Blu-rays when you upgrade from DVD or VHS

Worked for me today.

I used the pre-order card to pre-order TS1 and TS2 blu-ray. I got $20($15 + $5) off of A Bug's Life Blu-Ray. Total out door today, with tax, $20 and some change. ($5 TS1 pre-order + $5 TS2 pre-order + $9.99 A Bug's Life Blu).

Tomorrow, I'll use the two $10 coupons for TS1 and TS2 and will walk out with a nice deal, $25 for 3 blus is good from today's trip and tomorrow.

I am not sure I want to try and press my luck with using the two $5 coupons for TS1 and TS2 as I'd have to buy something else. I guess I'll see how I feel tomorrow and if I can find a $10ish DVD to give as a gift to a family member.

$5 coupon - general coupon from Disney that has been avaialable through them and requires nothing except just printing it out
Doesn't the $10 coupon just trump the $8 one?

So you've missed the ~200 posts about TRU often taking multiple coupons?

I think it's ridiculous. Just be glad you're getting the movies for 7$ each. If this keeps up, companies might stop accepting coupons and Disney might stop producing them. While Disney is somewhat at fault for release 3 different kinds of coupons it still shouldn't be done. It's a good enough deal as it is.

I think that we are such a tiny percentage of their market that they could care less if a few folks get ridiculous deals. The VAST majority will pay full price and be perfectly happy.

Just printed both my upgrade coupons, no problem.
Well, I was going to have them price-match Meijer on "The Blind Side." My thinking is, if my total is going to be $3.98 after both $10 coupons (including my pre-order), and I tried to use the $5 coupons, they wouldn't let me go into the negative and actually pay me money back. However, I thought that if I added an additional item onto my order, the money they would "owe me" would actually go toward the cost of that item.

Re: Save $10.00 off Toy Story & Toy Story 2 Blu-rays when you upgrade from DVD or VHS

Pre-ordering TS1 & TS2, I was able to get Pixar Short Films Vol. 1 for $6.99+tax.

$29.99 - $20.00 ($15.00 + $5.00 rebate for pre-order) - $3.00 (Disney's "Isn't It Time You Got Rewarded" coupon) = $6.99+tax.

Pixar Shorts plus TS1 and TS2 for $22.00 is pretty darn good in my book.

The one near my work refused the Snow White facebook coupon. I wasn't familiar with that one - was it different than these Disney Reward ones?

I'm just hoping for the two $10's to work, but Im prepared for only one to be accepted (still happy with that).

Maybe I misunderstood something, but I didn't get $20 off with the pre-order. I got $15 like it says. Just did it today.

I'm certainly not going to pitch a fit if they don't take multiple coupons, but do you really think I'm ridiculous for trying?

Do you pay list price for a new car, thinking that finagling is ridiculous?

Coupons are pretty much exactly like cash for the stores. They mail them in and get cash back from the manufacturer, plus a handling fee. so as long as they have an efficient system for handling the process, coupons are better than cash. Every store should take as many coupons as possible. Why should they care if you're getting a good deal? They are getting their cash no matter how you pay.

We've said all along that it was a glitch and was supposed to be $15. Maybe they fixed it.

On my receipt it was two separate items, -$15 and -$5.

That's what I was getting at. There was a lot of talk that sounded certain others would get $20 off, but, at least at the store I went to, that wasn't the case.

Now I feel like I should try the extra $5 off coupons for REVENGE!

Eh...

Oh, well that's cool. Nothing to complain about there. I'm just glad I went out and preordered these movies. The cheapest I've been able to find Bolt was $17 used, so getting it for $10 new made me very happy.

Plus I got it just in time, the digital copy expires on Wednesday!

So you're positive there is only the one $15 discount on your receipt? Their receipts are sort of funky, and it might not be spelled out as you expect it to be.

Trevor, you seem to be the master of this sort of thing. Any thoughts?
