A quote from a fella on the DMR Facebook page:
"The coupon code in the past has not been valid until a day or two before the promotion date. This promotion date states the coupon is good 3/23/2010-4/11/2010. I would try back in a couple days to see if it works then. I had the same problem with Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs and was finally able to do it on the Sunday before it came out."

I was able to stack multiple manufacturer's coupons at Target for the Monsters, Inc./Up combo. The workaround was to add an additional item(I bought a $1 Gatorade) to the two Blu-rays. The computer accepted all coupons without the need of a manual override. Hopefully it will be the same way this Tuesday.

Damn! Amazon already shipped out my pre-order before I had a chance to cancel it, or ask them to price-match these coupons. Might still give e-mailing them a whirl though, or return the discs when they arrive.

Is that $15 pre-order discount (mentioned in post #13) still available for pre-ordering TS1&2 @ TRU?

But weren't some people saying that they encountered issues with TRU honoring the proper pricing on that deal?

Quite a few people. Sounds like a headache over $5-$10. I'd be looking at 2 trips across town and possible cashier troubles at each visit. Target is closer and I know I'll be in and out without any hassle.

However, people said yesterday that they fixed the computers and it did work automatically, but it was actually giving $20 off which is even better.

Hopefully it goes smooth this next time around but if I get the same very nice employees as last time then it should not be a problem. The $10 I have pre-ordered is just money down and the coupon was not the problem last time so it should not be this time the only problem I foresee is possibly getting the $16.99 price to ring up for buying both of them.

However, a $10 manufacturer coupon is better than a $5 one, so it seems even if Target won't PM Fry's $19.97 price, they should at least allow the $10 manufacturer's coupon on each and hopefully still give the $10 combo discount. That's a price I could live with.
I would've gone the Toys R Us route except they are so far away from me (as is Fry's) as to make any savings less than $10 not worth it.

I kept pointing to the "today" on the card.
Spoke to the manager and he said the same but would let me do it anyway.
She scanned the card and it took the $15 by itself anyhow.
I also seem to have an extra $5 off too.
But I used the Disney $5 coupon instead of the $10 one, oops. I might go back to see if I can get the $10 one applied.
My total today is 11.99 plus tax

Awesome! Printed and ready for Tuesday. Hopefully, TRU still rings up each film at $16.99 (minus $5) having pre-ordered them together this morning.

A tip for those of you going to TRU: if your store has a separate electronics section, try to pay for your movies there. They seem to be savvy to the Disney deals, and have honored multiple coupons.
The main registers seem to produce blank stares, varying interpretations of "today", and a possible call for manager's assistance.

I logged in my DMR account, entered the UPC code but I do not see any banner to click to get the coupons. I have done this coupon thing before for the Snowhite BR but it is not working for TS. I logged out and logged in but no success.
It accepted the two UPC codes and I can see it in the rewards statement:

If I go to "My Account" I can see the two banners to print the coupons right below "Special Offers".

Banners showed up here. Do you have an Ad Blocker installed? It might be blocking the banners.

Good grief....are you kidding me, an even better discount?!?!
These new coupons are just like Affleck in Phantoms: da bomb!!
Even ignoring the TRU pre-order deal (if you have no interest in any other Disney titles but these), you're now looking at $30 in combined discounts at TRU, Target, or Best Buy between store promotions and these manufacturers coupons....again I say, who gives a crap what MSRP Disney likes to give for their BD releases, when they always end up cheapest with their generous discount/coupon programs!
