Currently the six-disc set of the first twenty episodes is going for 56% off, or £21.97. With VAT removed, it's £18.90 + shipping, which works out to 1p more. Series three costs a bit more by itself.

From what I've read, the discs are region-free and all extras are in full HD.

I own both of the individual releases and they play fine on my US PS3 - still waiting on a deal for S3.

is this show any good its been on sale for 3 weeks never seen it?

It ranges from soap opera to soaring drama, but mostly tending toward the latter. The last two episodes of Season 2 are two of the best hours I've ever seen on TV. The 5th episode of Season 4 (the final season), just shown this last Sunday on Showtime, was close to those. Overall, very much worth watching.

What's the casing like for these?

Each season is in a standard size UK case (which is a little thicker than standard US cases). A middle, swing piece with two discs, one disc on each side, and the third disc on the right side of the main case. There's an outer cardboard box holding both seasons.

Current season (S4) is the final season....probably makes sense to wait for the inevitable "Complete Series" release.
