Yes, you have to cut the barcode from the box set.

Keep in mind, these coupons are only good until the end of the year, and it takes a few weeks from the time you mail them to when they email you the coupons

So I cut the UPC code from the bottom of the Toy Story box set and sent it in with the form. I just go an email saying they won't honor it because I sent the wrong thing.

Not sure what I did wrong. There was no other UPC code or proof of purchase on the set. I sent the only thing I saw. And of course, they didn't include a return email address to ask what I do need to send.

Scratch that. They did include a customer service email. We'll see what they say.

Go online and pick which ones you want to upgrade. They'll send you an email. Print out the email. Cut out the Proof-of-Purchase tabs that are on the top backside of each individual dvd that you want to upgrade. They won't upgrade the Toy Box set for another Toy Box set. Tape the POP tabs to the page you printed out. A week or two later, you'll receive an email to print out 2 $8 coupons for the Blu-rays. You keep, sale, trade or give the dvd as a gift. The coupons expire 30 days after you print them out.

At Target, I bought Meet the Robinsons for $14.99 - $8.00 coupon = $6.99.

The DVDs in the original Ultimate Toy Box did not have UPC codes. Only the box had the bar code. That's what I sent in. I was declined.

They won't take box sets or twin sets (Toy Story 1 & 2 in the same case). You think they would honor it.

Best Buy has alot of Disney BDs on sale. I know, Best Buy doesn't always take coupons with sales going on, but some do. Bought Miracle for the sale price of $16.99 - $8.00 coupon = $8.99.

@whotony--I wasn't really in the holiday spirit until celebrating Hanukkah and also read a great article on Jim Carrey's motion-capture performance in the new A CHRISTMAS CAROL. After posting that I went to Amazon and the 2-disc BD, DVD & copy was on sale for $19.49. So it was actually cheaper than when it was first released a few weeks back. I am psyched to watch it. I've always loved Christmas movies despite being Jewish. There aren't many Hanukkah movies save for Adam Sandler's 8 Crazy Nights!
