I'd say your chances of that would be slim, but you never know. Probably much better chance if you do it in two separate transactions. Buy it one day with the pricematch, go back days later with receipt and coupon to get cash back.

Amazon is amazingly frustrating when it comes to pricematching requests. They appear to flip a coin on every decision, and sometimes honor things you wouldn't dream possible.

You: "My mom is selling this item for $5 cheaper than you.'
Amazon: 'Ok, here's a $5 credit.'

Got Terminator today. Still on sale for $9.99. Walked out the door with it at about $5.50 (with CA taxes). The coupon went through just fine for this title.

The coupons worked/scanned today for National Treasure and Kingdom of Heaven with no problems

Went back today to get the price adjusted on Wizard of Oz = $5 back

Then used $5 coupon on National Treasure (on temporary price reduction at $19.99), applied the $5 cash back from WoZ price adjustment = $9.99

Was T2 the Skynet Edition?

Used the coupon today and picked up Transporter and Terminator for $4.99 each.

I just came from Target and was unsuccessful in getting T2 - Skynet (only blu-ray version they had there) to scan at anything but $24.99. Terminator scanned just fine at $9.99, so I just bought that with the $5 off coupon.

I think my Target and most others have a habit of leaving up old sale tags.
I see old tags on almost every visit their,don't get me wrong I like Target.
wish they had more sales on DVD's though.

It would be nice if they did extend it though..

I'm not sure I think that one was out of stock too, actually now that I think about it might have been T3, I was in kind of a hurry.

I had picked up "Star Trek" and "Serenity" for $14.99 (after the coupon). I looked at the "Terminator" blu-ray, but it did not have any Dolby-Tru HD or DTS-HD audio options.

It most likely was T3. I saw a clear sign advertising T3 for $9.99, whereas no sign even existed for the first Terminator film, which is also on sale for $9.99.

T1 and T3, the first two Transporters, and Body Heat were among the others on sale.

Gremlins is now on sale for $19.99. I did pick up Blazing Saddles (which was $1 less during the 2 day sale) and Terminator 3 for $4.99 each after coupons. The coupons didn't scan and they had to call a manager and he said no problem.

Terminator 1 and 2 were regular price by me. (South Florida)
