I do it all at the Guest Services desk. I request the PM first. After they do the PM and ring up the purchase, I then lay the coupon on them. If you're lucky, they'll just scan it and the total will drop the additional 5 bucks.

I went through the check out lanes and the cashier went with me to the customer service area and I checked out there. In case there is a difference, I first did the price match and then gave her the coupon.

Another option is to do the PM the first day, and then go back days later for the 'forgot my coupon $5 bill'.

They didn't hold my hand, just told me I had to go to the customer service desk to PM. Showed the ad and the coupon at the same time. Harry Potter 6 for $10.60 out the door, no problem.

My local Wal-Mart doesn't seem to have the ad handy. I went to Target with the Wal-Mart ad in my iPhone and I was denied

Worked for me as well! Didn't even have to go over to customer service...the cashier was able to do it herself....
I'll be sad when this coupon expires...getting new releases on BD for $15 and under is something I can really get used to....

The Target rep almost didn't take the coupon because of the Transformers 2 picture, but in the end allowed it, so I got HP6 BR for $10 + tax. Now I have to return the Walmart.com order that hasn't arrived yet. From what I've read, Walmart.com orders can be returned in store, right?

At least it was free shipping at Walmart, so I should get all my money back. I'm beginning to agree that preordering is risky because lately there have been a lot of last minute deals or price drops.

My Target's $9.99 BR section was still pretty weak. Just the same old stuff.. Under Siege, Bullitt, Body Heat, and a couple others that don't interest me even at $4.99.

It really works! Knowing my luck I figured it wouldn't scan or the cashier would argue against it, but it scanned perfectly fine and the cashier didn't say a thing. Picked up The Prestige for 9.99 after coupon.

Sweet, brought in my 2 reciepts for wizard of oz and got $10 back, then used that $10 on HP6 after pricematch and coupon.

Decided to give it a whirl today. Before I could spit out the words to the cashier about splitting up the discs because of my concern about the 1 coupon per transaction rule ...she quickly interjected and stated don't worry about it, I cheat ..and proceeded to ring both discs up with their respective coupons without fail (I used the PDF file someone posted up on page 2 or 3). I almost asked her when she was working next but I figured she might take that the wrong way. I just want to make sure she's there in case more go on sale next week.

Why didn't you pricematch it to Walmart?

^Worked for me too! In fact, the cashier was really excited for me getting the deal. She said she loved it when customers shop smart.

Just tried to price match Harry Potter at target. Customer service gave me some story about how the one in the walmart ad wasn't a combo pack and that they were selling a target exclusive so they couldn't price match it. Which I know isn't true since I know someone who bought it at walmart earlier and it was the exact same blu Ray combo pack.

I got Harry Potter & The HBP this afternoon at a local Target for $10 with NO problem at all.
First I stopped at a local WalMart and grabbed their circular (there were only two left). The Target had only three copies of the HP Blu. I took one to Customer Service (I'm told Target cashiers aren't able to do price adjustments). Handed the woman the WM ad, and asked for a price match on their $15 advertised price. She did it without batting an eye. Then I plopped the $5 Blu coupon on the counter. She scanned it - again without batting an eye. SOLD for $10.00!

I also used the coupon and price matched for hp6 for $10.

One of the rare few... those associates make up for all the Grinches who use whatever means are at their disposal to keep you from (legitimately!) saving money.

All these cashier horror stories perplex me. In both my purchases, the cashiers scanned the coupon before even looking at it.

And yes, Target doesn't seem to have restocked since Black Friday.
