Re: Black Friday Deals Compilation
I "Case" the stores on Wednesday, many are setting up the bins where the bargains will be, so I know where to "Strike" when I get there. I drive in on a Moter Scooter, so Parking is not an issue. The Target I go to is only 1/4 mile from the Best Buy. Bear in mind all times are approximate. By 7:00 am I am usually Finished!

Every year I am consistently reminded of the last words Jack Hawkins speaks in THE BRIDGE ON THE RIVER KWAI.
Check that. Perhaps I mean every day.

How exactly do "doorbusters" work, I've never really gone out on Black Friday, never really anything I wanted. Is there a time frame here?

If you call them a few days ahead, they'll probably match breakfast in your kitchen for you (and ship it free).
My plan is similar to yours except I'll probably go out shortly after 5 A.M. to rifle through the pockets of those who got trampled when the doors got busted down.
I like to think of it as my "Thanksgiving Bonus".

Oh, that's easy. The people who don't punch each other out or get trampled to death busting through the doors get some seriously sweet deals.
And, if they choose their stores wisely, they get to treated to lots and lots of this:
<object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/RikGluekI8w&hl=en_US&fs=1&"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/RikGluekI8w&hl=en_US&fs=1&" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>

You guys are hilarious!
Amazon probably would match my breakfast, but I end up with 50 slices of toast, 30 bowls of cereal, and three pounds of scrambled eggs made from powder.

I hope that's a joke? Shopping isn't what really matters at all. Sure, giving gifts is nice. But family and enjoying company is what matters. Making a nice wholesome breakfast at home with the whole family the day after T-day would be preferable to eating at IHOP or Dennys. BF is crazy. Like people die crazy. I'm happy Amazon has their customers' backs, protecting them from the choleric zombie morons at Wal-Mart or Best Buy the morning of black friday. And I'm not kidding. The bum rushes on black friday are truly a display of how sad life can be in a developed country. People fighting each other for a good deal? No thanks.

Re: Black Friday Deals Compilation
OP has Walmart with Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince bluray for $10. It is not scheduled for release until Dec. 8th. Is this a Walmart exclusive early release or a mistake ??

Re: Black Friday Deals Compilation
Does anyone have word whether Walmart will pricematch other stores' ads on Black Friday?
They've done it each of the prior years, but I get worried one day they'll stop since pretty much every other store refuses to pricematch other stores that day. If they don't, then I won't be getting any of the Best Buy deals since I won't go there on BF... I've heard too many horror stories of multi-hour lines there to try, whereas I can usually get "rung up" at Walmart within 15 minutes.
