Does Forrest Gump Blu Ray have the $10 upgrade offer?

Like "Braveheart" and "Gladiator", has anyone see a $10 upgrade offer from Paramount on this one?

I feel like I have indeed seen confirmation of the $10 upgrade offer being present, but unfortunately I can't cite anything at the moment. I'll dig.

Unless I am mistaken, the rebate form found in Gladiator and Braveheart indicated Forrest Gump as one of the titles eligible for the promotion.

A little off topic, but is this rebate offer the same as the one offered for ZODIAC? If so, that offer doesn't seem very good, as I upgraded from the HD-DVD version to the Blu, sent in the UPCs and receipts over FOUR months ago. I still haven't received any rebate. Others on this forum had reported that HD-DVD to Blu-ray upgrades qualified for the rebate. Guess not... Or if anyone has done this successfully, please reply, or tell me where I can call / go to inquire about the rebate status.

I just wish I could find it cheaper than $22.99.

I submitted an HD DVD UPC for Transformers and got the rebate. I did not have to call or anything. If you search that thread I believe there was a number to call about the promotion.

Yep, I believe I remember seeing that title on the rebate form, as well.

I did one for the Godfather and it took a long time to come. But it did come. Since these are all Paramount titles, I suspect its the same company.

And for what its worth, I also remember seeing Forrest Gump on the Braveheart upgrade slip.

Confirmed. Saw several copies of this at BJ's Club and they all had the $10 mail-in rebate (for owners of the DVD) sticker on the front. Off topic, but just to note, It's a Wonderful Life had the same $10 rebate for DVD owners going on.

Re: Does Forrest Gump Blu Ray have the $10 upgrade offer?

I used to do all of these but found that the resale value reduction on the DVD and BLU-RAY was about equal to the $10 when I had to list both of them as being all cut up. That and the 8 week wait, postage to mail, sometimes having to follow-up. Nice they offer it, but I now think it sounds better than the reality in the end.

At Amazon, Forrest Gump is now $19.99. If they don't send you one with a rebate sticker on it, don't open it. Best Buy has them. Buy one from BB with the $10 rebate sticker on it. Then take the one without the sticker to BB to get a refund. They have the same UPC numbers.
