yeah, I got that email last night and was very excited.... UNTIL i went to their website and saw what their "list prices" are. What a frakkin' JOKE! Even at 50% everything costs more than everywhere else!!

This is an in-store coupon and their list prices in-store are correct. For whatever reason, their online list prices are inflated.

I plan on grabbing Kagemusha for $21.19(tax included) and Hero for $23.84(tax included). Amazon sells Kagemusha for $25.99 and Hero for $29.99. Neither one of these will ever be sold by Columbia House and I'll be close to the $50 threshold to earn $5 in Borders Bucks.

I scored the OOP Akira for a good price last time.

Even if Drag Me To Hell is $40 in-store after coupon it will be cheaper than Amazon.

It's listing out at $42.99...which is $3 higher than MSRP. WTF?? Even Trick R Treat and Midnight Meat Train Blu (all things I'm looking to pick up) are listing out way higher than MSRP.

They are cheaper in store.

Hmm. So what is the difference with "cheaper in store" and the being on sale exclusion on the coupon? For example, the Star Trek Generation BLU-RAY movie set is on sale for $76.79, which the coupon would indicate I couldn't combine right?

Best case this is more than likely 50% MSRP plus tax right?

Ignore the website prices. The best thing to do is take the coupon to the store and look around. Compare prices with Amazon on your smartphone if you can't remember them.

Yeah no combo with sale price; you either take list price minus the coupon or the sale price.

I was there earlier and that set was $79.99, so $40 with coupon + tax (currently $46.00 on Amazon, so it's kinda of a push.)

Anyways, I ran up to a Borders during Lunch, and walked out with Drag Me To Hell and South Park:BLU for $35+ tax.

Donnie Darko is still, inexplicably, $39.99. (And yes, it scanned at that price. WTF?)
