I need to go in tomorrow and pick up a book I ordered anyway, I'm thinking of seeing if they have Casablanca and the Searchers, I think that would make it $25 for the two of 'em.

You cannot trust their website as an indicator of the in-store prices, as they are all different....
You want to know what the in-store price of a title is? Just look up the MSRP somewhere else online (Amazon, DVDEmpire, etc.)...Borders in-store regular price on *most* of their BDs is MSRP!
Also, it appears you can't always trust their "likely in store" indicator, as I looked up a few titles before I went to my local store today, and the website said they probably had them, but they weren't there....on the flip side of things, a few titles that the website said were supposedly "online only" the store actually DID have, so YMMV....
I was able to snag The Omen (mislabeled at the old 39.99 MSRP, actually rang up at the new MSRP of 16.99) and Grease today, for an after coupon total of only $24...not a monumental savings compared to Amazon (about $5), but good enough for me to bite...

Snagged...
Watchmen $17.99 (had the OOP Lenicular cover also)
Fringe:S1 $39.99
Came to ~$62 after our wonderful Texas taxes.
Wanted Drag Me to Hell and Trick R Treat to tell ya the truth... but Borders @ The Domain's DVD/BD section has really gone to hell and a hand basket. Almost nothing recent in there.

Just from today:
• 300: The Complete Experience BD -- Borders has it tagged $49.99, instead of the $39.99 SRP.
• Star Trek Next Generation Movie Collection BD is tagged at $79.99, instead of the $69.99 SRP.
Folks just need to be extra careful when in store.

Yes, contrary to his many comments about Border's "list" prices being the same as MSRP, I found MANY items in store that were priced above MSRP

Re: 50% off Blu-ray @ Borders coupon
I hadn't been in one of these in over a year, and now I know why. First of all, they had all the BD locked up like they were priceless, so you couldn't see most of the price stickers. Then, when you finally find someone - they are laughable. As previously mentioned, $80 for TNG Collection, $140 for Trek S2, $50 for 300. Geez, even at "half" and paying taxes (in PA you pay tax on the price before discount), I am way outside a good deal.
No dis to the poster cause it was a great find, but this store is on crack.

Re: 50% off Blu-ray @ Borders coupon
I'd say other than a few anomalies, MOST of their BDs are priced at MSRP....I looked through their whole section today and other than a few of those outliers mentioned here, the vast majority were completely in line with their given MSRPs, and definitely not what the website price was....I'm amending my original post to say "most" so there is no confusion, but based on what I saw today, you'd be much better off (and 95+% of the time be correct) using the MSRP for an indicator as to what their in-store price will be, especially compared to going by their terrible website....
Now, if you're talking about books/CDs/etc. there, I have no idea what their general pricing structure is like for those items, as I did no research on them....

I got that idea because I kept noticing it on my receipts. However, it appears this may not be correct, so I appreciate you pointing it out.

Not sure I would take the time to fight it though, I can sometimes barely get them to take my coupons.........I can't even imagine trying to explain the tax code regulations.

Picked up Chocolate for $13.68 total.
My local Borders was out of Drag Me To Hell, which was a bummer. $20 is just the right price for it.

Tax depends on what kind of discount you are using, actually. If it's a sale price or a store's coupon (like this 50% off sale), that discounted price is their selling price and therefore you only pay the tax on the price AFTER discount.
If it's a manufacturer's coupon, such as the Disney coupons or grocery coupons for example, those are actually considered a form of payment (since the store gets reimbursed for those) and therefore tax is figured BEFORE those "payment" coupons are applied.

I went to three local borders stores last night (nashville TN area) - found nothing worth buying (other than titles I already had)... disappointing...

I might have to check now. I went a couple weeks ago when I had a 40% off coupon and they didn't have it. If anyone sees it at theirs do you mind telling me what the price is?

The Borders closest to me (which wasn't close at all) had a terrible selection. I left the coupon on the shelf in that department. Maybe someone else can get some use out of it.

I used to love whenever I found a lowly Alpha DVD title in BORDERS and they were asking anywhere from $2-$3 more than the MSRP! Even Alpha themselves wouldn't be that shameless.

Actually found a bargain! Picked up 'Sky Captain & The World of Tomorrow' for $9.99 (priced at $19.99). Best online price is $18.80.

I really wanted How I met your mother and south park, but I settled for Star Trek TNG Collection (39.99) and Lost S4 (34.99). They actually have the MSRP for Lost at 69.99 instead of 96.99...
