The cheapest price I've seen for the set -- in its original, now-defunct packaging -- is $149.99. $132.99 is simply incredible.

2001: A Space Odyssey just went to $7.99. Not sure how long that will last. The price doesn't show up on dvdpricesearch.com, so I couldn't see if this was part of a group of reductions or not.

Thanks, I'm in! I was also offered another free Prime trial, so I didn't need to buy anything else. I haven't had a free Prime trial in a few years, so that is probably why. I know most of you got one at the end of last year...

So what if they do? Demand they send you a new one if it's beat up. If I pay for something NEW I expect it to be in new condition. If not, it's time for a replacement.

Today I told just about anybody I think would be interested about this deal. The price is just awesome...cheaper than the Cylon packaging ever was (and with all the complaints about the way the discs were packed in there kept me from buying that) and was well worth the wait.

I didn't even know there was already a double dip on Rambo, but then I noticed it's Lions Gate so I'm not surprised (didn't they take over Artisan, the double/triple/quadruple dip kings?). Since we're talking about Rambo, is it correct that the Extended Cut BD is only a single layer (BD-25), according to Bluray.com? So, the old edition has the theatrical cut and many extras, while this one has 8 more minutes and a new 83 minute production diary and no other extras. It's tempting, but I'm not quite ready to start double dipping on BD upgrades of BDs I already own, at least not at $9.99.
