$10 Rebate for owners of the DVD expires at the end of the month. Not sure if new copies still have rebate form, though.

I just bought the Sapphire Series blu ray of Braveheart for $20.00 from Frys and then sent in the 10 dollar rebate card using the UPC of the original dvd.

Was looking forward to the Spidey Trilogy lightning deal all day, but at $44.99, I can't justify rebuying it. Thirty bucks would have been nice. Now I can only hope that the Matrix Trilogy on Blu is around 35-40. Anyone guess how much it'll go for?

I'd be willing to be it'll be right around the same price.

I think $50 has been Amazon's lowest price point in the past, I wouldn't expect lower than the Spider-Man set.

For a gold box, I would have thought Spidey would have been less. This is what I had paid for it last year, and have seen it lower a few times. As for Matrix, I believe it is the Ultimate edition, and if so, my guess it would be between $50 and $60.

I guess I will need to temper my expectations for Battlestar Galactica and Crouching Tiger Trilogy.

I could only see it being slightly lower in price due to the fact that it was the deal everyone voted for and it had won.

Excellent, in for both! These are $29.99 and $30.99 at amazon.ca -ohbfrank-
So even with shipping and that silly "export fee", it's still a good deal.

FWIW I was at Walmart on the weekend and they had Zombieland for $15, of course YMMV.

I got the Spider-Man Blu-ray trilogy from J+R for $30 a few years ago -- I ordered it prior to even purchasing my PS3.

A pity the Star Trek set didn't win instead of Matrix.

It's $16.04 on DeepDiscount currently with their 25% off sale, if you dare.

Good question. I was expecting the Spiderman Trilogy to be around $29.99. I mean really, these titles are not new at all. I won't go higher than $10 a piece for each Spiderman film. And for the Matrix Trilogy, if it's the ultimate set, expect it for around the same price as the Spiderman Trilogy. I'd wait till the end of the year, unfortunately.
