Dunno if it has been said already or not, but walmart.com has Magnolia for $9.46. Amazon is PMing it, but if you have a WM gift card like I did, you may be interested...

I didn't see it mentioned on DVD Talk. There is a handful of $5 BDs at Walmart.com that I think were recently reduced in price. See the thread at http://slickdeals.net/forums/showthread.php?t=2580745 for more info.

I'm anti-Wal*Mart (actually have never been to one and I plan on keeping that way). I don't care it their Blu-Ray is $1.

I saw Piranha 3D blu-ray tonight and it said $19.96. I didn't have time to go scan it and see if it was correct but the shelf label said Piranha 3D BD on it. I realize though that they may label it Piranha 3D and it be the regular BD version as I think that's the title they used in theaters. Just a heads up that it could be worth looking into.

Walmart by me was putting up a new BD movie display in the middle of the isle in front of electronics. Guy didn't know prices yet (surprise) but they should be $10 or so (guessing, but most of the movies I saw were not current releases and obviously "price point" type movies). I saw movies like Independence Day. The one that caught my eye was Terminator 2 - Judgement Day. I'll go back tomorrow when not such a zoo to check prices.

Picked up the RED SE BD today for 12.96 could be YMMV
The movie only BD was 19.96 so not sure why the crazy pricing but no complaints.
Shelf tag was 12.96 and it rang up correctly.....I got the last one at my Wally World

They really didn't have any out but in the $9 section were 'Blot' and 'Scorpion King 2', but I couldn't tell you if that was right or not. For all I know someone could have just sat them there.
I will be heading back tomorrow so will report back

I was able to use the $5 coupon and picked up 'Dances With Wolves' for $10 since my local Target didn't have it in stock when I was there a couple of weeks ago.

Sorry to take this thread on a slight tangent, but I have something I think is worth informing others of about Walmart regarding returning an item where a manufacturer's coupon was used. Until now I always thought a person would never get back less than you paid (and sometimes more) when you return such an item.
---------------
I tried another Walmart and had the same problem with the employee wanting to give me back LESS than I paid because of the manufacturer coupon. The computer came up with a refund of what I paid + the coupon (like Target does), but as with each previous time the employee took it on herself to manually override the price down to the after coupon price. Since I had previously tried to return this item at 3 different Walmarts (because I knew they were not supposed to give me back less than I paid), I finally concluded this is their new policy in my area to pocket the coupon cash for themselves (I heard there was a law against that but couldn't find it on Google) and try to rip the consumer off the tax paid on the coupon.
There was some other higher up guy nearby, so I asked her to ask him. He made a phone call and came back saying Walmart is not allowed to give me back more than I paid and the computer system is wrong in trying to give me back what I paid + the coupon, so they have to override it. Then he left.
So I said just give me back what I paid on the receipt and I clearly pointed to that amount on the receipt. The cashier then ran it through and handed me back LESS than I paid, and I said I wouldn't accept anything less than what the receipt said I paid. She then said sorry there's nothing I can do, so I insisted on a supervisor or manager. A supervisor came and gave me the same story saying the computer won't allow it. I said if they had just left things alone and given me back what the computer system said, there would've been no problem and I would've been in and out of here in 3 minutes. She said I can't allow you to keep the coupon cash, so I said "but it's OK if Walmart keeps it?", and she repeated she can't give me back more than I paid. I again repeated then at least give me back what I paid. So she spent about 10 minutes messing with the system and still couldn't do it. She said sorry there's nothing I can do. I said that's unacceptable so get me the store manager. She said she was the highest up (her badge said customer service manager so I don't think that was true). I finally said if you do not give me back what I paid to the penny, even though I would not normally waste my time on principle I would report them for not giving me a full refund when I returned an unopened product with a receipt in the required time frame. So she finally pulled some change out of the drawer. This is after wasting about 20 minutes of my time.
I finished by saying if Walmart's new policy is that they will not refund the consumer exactly what he paid if he returns an item with a manufacturer's coupon, then I would never buy another item from Walmart with a manufacturer's coupon unless it's something I'm 100% sure I'll never return (like food). I've never had this much trouble getting a full refund at any store before, and I know it's not the first time over the years I've ever had to return something with a manufacturer's coupon at Walmart, but I do know it will be the last time.
My lesson learned: DO NOT BUY ANYTHING AT WALMART WITH A MANUFACTURER'S COUPON IF YOU MIGHT RETURN IT UNLESS YOU DON'T CARE ABOUT GETTING YOUR SALES TAX ON THE COUPON REFUNDED.

That begs the question of what happens to the coupon. Technically they shoudl have returned the coupon to you as well. Right now, they made out like bandits profiting the value of the coupon. Their policy may be not to refund coupon values, but what they are doing now is either theft or fraud.

Same thing happened to me. They only take the coupon value when they notice you used a coupon and a lot of times they ASK you if you did. Just say no.

Hyperbole much? Make out like bandits? How much do they make in a year vs. how many people who used a manufacturer's coupon AND actually return an item? Not sure about this coupon but most state that a store, when asked, prove those transactions in order to get that money. Not sure they'd risk fraud over that minimal amount.

Now, I do think somebody when they return something should be given back what they've paid (which includes the taxes) but nothing beyond that. You personally are not out that $5 and as for Wal-Mart, if called upon, have to prove those purchases.
