I think I saw Thomas Crown Affair but not sure. I did for sure see Jade and Cocoon along with the Relic.

I hope Jade is on the new release shelf tomorrow morning at my local Walmart for $10. I really want this movie since it was only available in FS on DVD. Shame it's not the director's cut but this will be just fine.

Just saw a whole mess of walmart exclusive DVD/Blu ray two packs where the dvd copy was shrink wrapped with the blu ray copy in front of it. All were priced at 15 bucks.

There were like 10-15 titles. I can't really remember any of them but two stuck out in my mind: jarhead and Old School.

Do they say Wal-Mart exclusive? I saw a bunch of titles in the Meijer ad advertised the same way (DVD + Blu).

Goin again in a bit so I will find out what titles are there and how much.

I wish the "Jarhead" Blu-ray wasn't completely devoid of bonus features.

Bought Jade this morning at Walmart for $10. I may go back and get The Relic tomorrow. Both of these are priced at 17.00 each at Best Buy so this is definitely a great deal at WM.

I saw the 4 of them there with Thomas Crown Affair and Cocoon for $15 and Relic and Jade for $10.

Also found Event Horizon and Posiedon for $15.

It does come with 2 commentaries, but all other special features from the 2-disc DVD is gone. I think I'll stick with my HD-DVD copy that has all the special features.

These are not WM exclusives AFAIK. My local BJs have had these for $11-$15 for almost a year now ($11 when they have them on IR).

On Monday I saw some "combo" packs where the BD and DVD versions of some films were wrapped together. The 2 I remember seeing were Street Fighter (Van Damme) and The Eye. They were priced for $12.

$15 for the DVD/Blu-ray combo packs at my WM, I remember Jarhead, Last Starfighter, Doom, 8 Mile, Battle for Terra.

I seriously doubt that BR Bargain bin because Walmart still sellse those $5 listed BR's that someone had posted for $10. Don't believe that $5 price.

The Blu-ray selection at the two Wal-Marts I go to are a fucking mess. They have two or three small Blu-ray sections scattered randomly throughout the electronics, and then there a few mixed in with the regular DVDs.

I really don't think they're very interested in pushing the format.

FWIW, BJ's Wholesale Club has a bunch of Universal combo packs for $14.99.
