ULTIMATE MATRIX COLLECTION - Blu
(Already have this, but figured reselling up here will offset some of what I paid for it in the first place!)
GODFATHER COPPOLA RESTORATION SET - Blu
BLADE RUNNER 2049 - 4K ($8.96)

I went and picked around a few days after and was able to find a few low priced duds. That Godfather snag has given me some hope. I may drop by this evening to the Walmart across town.

I was at the Walmart store earlier today and bought these movies for blu ray

original Frankenstein for 9 bucks

the new 4K and regular blu ray of Evil Dead II.

also i saw for blu ray steelbooks walmart has these movies: original Karate Kid, Matrix, Predator, Highlander, Dark Knight, Logan, Stripes, and some others. The Matrix was the cheapest one at 9 bucks for steelbook

The review hasn't gone up yet but the Evil Dead II UHD turned out pretty nicely.

I saw that even though the artwork shows otherwise. I wonder if they will end up sending the none 4K blu-ray.

Google today says complete Harry Potter 4k $106.00 but it is not that price when you go to the website!!! What’s up with that? Anyone know about this?

Google is wrong often enough, but Walmart has had a ton of deals today though many of them have expired as the day has gone on so it's possible Google picked up on it earlier and hasn't caught up yet.

Walmart and Amazon by extension through mirroring have been randomly dropping prices on certain media items since we hit May, only for the prices to shoot back up after a few hours.

You know, I would love to be in charge of Walmart prices for a few months so I could drive Amazon's algorithm crazy and since Amazon doesn't price adjust non-preorders they'd get a lot of ticked off customers who ordered at one price in the morning, had a new price set 20% lower a few hours later and then been refused an adjustment. I would do this for hundreds/thousands of items per day allowing Walmart to auto adjust their own customer orders, but aggravate the hell out of Amazon and their CSR.

I'd be having flash sales daily with a 20% off price at 8am and 40% off at 8pm.

I have enough issues with Amazon as a company, but their dropping of all price protections is the single biggest burr that drove me away from buying media from them. BestBuy refunded me approx 30% of my Feb and March purchases when they dropped a bunch of prices in April and seemed happy to help out. The last time I had an Amazon backordered item that dropped 30% in price before it even shipped and they wouldn't adjust the price. Since it was technically listed as processing I couldn't cancel/reorder even though it didn't even ship for another 72 hrs -- returned that one as damaged product to get them to pay return postage and my media orders at Amazon are less than 5% of what the were a few years ago despite my total yearly number of purchases being higher.

Amazon has built up such a huge behemoth that they don't feel pricing pressures like other retail outlets. I know one reason why they got rid of price protection - too many people were calling customer service for adjustments. They wanted that nipped in the bud.

Walmart had a couple good deals recently. I ended up grabbing Fright Night and X Files Complete Series yesterday.

Re: Walmart / walmart.com discounts and deals on Blu-ray

Someone should probably post this since the sets are already flying off the shelves. Lionsgate has created some specialized combo packs for the low price of $9.96 that appear to be Walmart exclusives. These combine several prior Blu-ray releases into one package.

The Arnold set has six of his movies on two BDs (missing lossless audio) and also includes UV digital copies for each movie. Each set also contains $8 off a movie ticket to John Wick 3.

Total Recall, Last Stand, T2, Red Heat, Maggie, & Hercules in New York.

Yes, this is the first appearance of Hercules in New York on Blu-ray. Use BrickSeek to see if your local Walmart has them yet.

Other themed-sets include packs for Bruce Willis, Keanu Reeves, Jackie Chan and Dolph Lundgren.

I found this display yesterday at Walmart.

After checking my collection, I already own one movie from each collection except amazingly the Bruce Willis pack, and the Keanu Reeves pack. I will pick up the Bruce Willis pack, and these are all supposedly instawatch (except the Dolph Lundgren pack) so if somebody gets a different pack and wants to swap digital codes let me know.

I would guess these are stripped down to just the movie, but I'll let you know when I get the Bruce Willis pack.

Any details on Hercules in New York? Didn't that have two different audio tracks?

It only has the audio track with Arnold's voice, not the dub.

Just today in the mail I got the blu ray of old Fright Night. I ordered it off of Walmart online the past weekend. Price for it was pretty cheap at 20 something bucks

Avengers: Endgame is currently $17.96 at Walmart.com (free pickup in-store), no idea for how much longer. Amazon is price-matching if you feel like waiting till at least Sept. 4th.

4k is $24.96

Also, Target.com price adjusted their exclusive 4k from $35 to $24.96 to match Walmart.com for me(even though I had preordered it in April and had already received it). YMMV

What do you mean Target.com adjusted the price?
you called and asked for a refund of the difference?
