The store I usually go to seems to have stopped as well. Either that, or they all sold out fast. Oh well, was cool while it lasted.

Was able to pick up The Front Page at the Westbury LI NY store yesterday.
Had a number of them on stock along with Mildred Pierce, appx 3 to 4 pieces. Only had 2 in stock for Being There & 1 for Mulholland Falls.

I'd go Under the Red Hood first, then Flashpoint Paradox. But it is still excellent and so is Crisis on Two Earths. Actually both of them are good packs though. Great bargain, too bad I own everything except War (which I do have on digital).

So I cling to some small hope that I'll get it for a reasonable price someday (however looking at Ebay prices...prolly not anytime soon). And since I have most of them in steel form, it seems kinda silly not to just bide my time and hope for the best.

Fair enough. I missed both those Steelbooks as well. Think I started collecting right after those.
But honestly I think the hardcover Graphic novels are just as cool. That's why I won't be getting the Wonder Woman re-release tomorrow (I think)

Ha, I'm saying the same exact thing right now. I don't need that Wonder Woman re-release, well maybe I do. But the whole Jedi mind trick thing worked for Caped Crusaders (and I've watched it on digital and I don't regret it at all), so I'm doing the same for Wonder Woman. I'm sure I will get back on the train for Batman/Harley Quinn though.

I tried to use my movie cash sticker to buy the ticket on Fandango, and learned that these cannot be used for the 3D version of "The Mummy" (2017). So these stickers are not as valuable as they could be. You have to pay a convenience fee too, even though the Fandango website is the only way to redeem the ticket. So be aware of this.

just bought game of thrones season three "limited time savings" stickered blu (digipak?) for 18.99. next to it i now see a thick cardboard box version for 23.99. the cardboard one has all the extras listed on the back, the one i bought has nothing listed. Did i buy a version that has no bonus crap like commentaries and documentaries and is just ten episodes? thanks.

My location still sells movies and TV shows, but it basically has become a "new release" section. And last time I was there I think I saw a few 4K discs for sale.
And for at least the next few months I expect that section to grow as they stock up for the holiday shopping season.

Mine just carries some Disney stuff all the time. And about 2 or 3 new releases for short spells. Otherwise, media section is a morgue. Its tough to compete with cheese blocks the size of bricks and 10 lb potato chips

Re: Costco discounts and deals on Blu-ray
I was at one of our local locations a couple days ago and the selection at that store had indeed shrunk to only about 6 or so new releases ON BD and a Wonder Woman display at the front of the store (both BD and 4K). They totally got ride of any of the catalog titles, including the Family/Children's title genre which has been their focus for as long as I can remember.

Not so sure. In the past the real draw was them selling some big box sets for real cheap. But those don't come out as often as they used to, and I doubt people are buying them at the rate they did in the past. At best it seems like we may see the same boxes they had last year... Bond box, complete Star Trek series, other complete series TV sets, etc.
