24 deal???

The 24 deal was in June 2008. I don't have enough posts to display link so you will have to search for it.

Which was better between the two deals depends on your view point. The 24 deal was better by percentage of savings, but the WB deal potentially saved more overall dollars if you placed many orders

The math on the WB deal was insane if you worked the right items..some people were able to get 9 boxsets for $120ish, its like christmas early for all of us bargain hunters.

The 24 deal was buy the special edition of Season 1 for $16.99 and get each of the other 5 seasons for $1.99 each. So you would have gotten all 6 seasons for under 30 bucks. The coupon wasn't meant to be applied to sale items, but it scanned at the register and it took BB a few days to fix the glitch.

Shipping notices for all three today. Counting John Adams and the Woodstock set as single movies, I got 21 films for $198.47. Madness!

Received my shipping notice yesterday.......and as others have stated the total in the email was higher than the charge on my card with the charge on my card being the correct amount.

Run Fat Boy Run, Bucket List, and Full Metal Jacket DE seem to be holding up my 2nd order. Those say ships within 5 days. All of the others say 1 business day. Of course, I've been waiting for more than 5 days. Perhaps I'll call them...

I received a shipping notice for the order I saw charged the other day. So at least I have the tracking number now... It should arrive tomorrow.

All in all, I got 43 titles for $349, including many $60 sets...

43, holy crap. Nice haul.

Finally received all mine yesterday. Very, very pleased with this deal. In case anybody is curious, none of my individual titles had slipcovers.

Of the ones that should have slipcovers, did have them in my orders.
Like Dark Knight, Inkheart, Watchmen, Polar Express 3D, and a couple others.

I didn't own any Blu-Rays before this deal. I bought 9, sold my SD version of Band of Brothers for $24, then sold 2 of the sets to almost break even. So I ended up with 7 Blu-Rays for around $5 total:

This was the third best deal of the year for me, after the WBshop B2G1 (maybe someday I'll tell that story) and the B&N Criterion sale. Thanks for all the codes!

Yes, the B2G1 was definitely the best deal of the year, even better for me than the Amazon B1G1 sale of a few years ago. You gotta love WB's sales and the fact that they don't know how to code their site. You'd think that the money they loose on gaffs like those would be made up by hiring a good programmer.

My order shipped yesterday--yay! Great sale, and one of the very best deals of the year--kudos to WBshop for following through with the orders.

Got my orders in today, 18 new BD's on the shelf and 9 Christmas Presents for a total of 27 BD's. This was an awesome sale, and happened at just the right time for me.

All of my items were in great shape, and Gran Torino came with a Slipcover. Watchmen the Animated Comic did not however.

Placed 2 orders with different emails. Got a shipping conf yesterday sent to one email detailing the order I placed with a different email...very odd.

I'm hoping they're both shipping together.

First order arrived today, should be getting the other two tomorrow! I was definitely sweating this one out for a while.

So what's the most titles anyone has coming?

I'll open the bidding at 72. 54 intentional, 18 that were duplicated and my requests to cancel them were apparently ignored because the orders shipped anyway.

Wow. That's high either way. I have a measly 27. Now there are titles I see that I would have bought, hopefully some people will be unloading at reasonable prices.

It's not working for me, but it could also be the sets I'm adding in.

What did you order, and what codes did you use?

It's not working for me. I tried with all sets. No go. Then, I tried using single BD movies that were shipping within 1 day, in combination with a couple pre-orders. No go.

Not working here either.

Well, it sort of works. For some reason the discounts apply to some pre-orders, but not all. For instance I have 6 pre-orders in my cart right now, and the coupons don't apply to any of them, except for Observe and Report which is free after coupons.

If you want less, 3 In-stock + 3 Pre-orders yields B3G3F, around $60 for 6.

9 In stock titles still does B4G5F. You can mix in 1-2 Pre-orders if you want and it still may work out. Usual trial and error is necessary.
