How Ward (aka Hive, aka Nate (Malik's brother)) knew that Malik had kept the rock and that Ward/Hive/Nate wanted revenge.
That was telegraphed... now when Ward/Hive/Nate killed Stephanie (kinda gross when your "Uncle" gives you the kiss of death) that surprised me.

Oh, I didn't see that as a twist.
I also didn't like the way that went because I thought that alien thing took the body of whomever he became.
So he should have been in the body of Malik's brother?

The only time the alien would have looked like Malik's brother is on the alien world. We never seen it before it took over the astronaut. After it took over the astronaut it took over Ward.

Right but how would it know brothers memories? Was that behind the scenes that he killed brother? Also once more. Doesn't Alien take the body as a host? Why is it still Ward?

Well, Malik keeping the Rock was the twist to me. At least I took it that way.
They explained somewhere that the alien kept the memories of the pasts hosts as he passed from host to host. So Hive is the sum of the hosts he's taken.

I thought it was a good episode overall. Personally I enjoy this series far more than Supergirl, Arrow and LoT when it comes to other comic based shows.

The entity that came from the other planet isn't technically an alien is it? It's the first Inhuman so it should at least be partly human, correct?

I was really confused about the thing in Ward, then I just read the Wikipedia article for this episode and now it makes more sense. The traveler that they sacrificed with the picking of the rocks was sent to that other world for Hive (the thing in Ward) to possess. So since Malick's brother was a traveler, he was sent over there and that's when Hive possessed him and took his memories.

I think it was whatever species lived on the planet. That might have been humans or something else. We can't assume humans were the only species the Kree experimented on.

Was there a reference, perhaps in the cabin conversation, to an ancient Inhuman who was related to or opposed to Hive (or was Hive?)?

Thousands of years ago, an Inhuman was born on this planet that was destined to rule it, so powerful, so fearsome that others were consumed with dread, and so they banished it from the Earth, sent it through the portal to a distant planet. HYDRA was founded with the sole purpose of engineering its return.
