Stallone has said he likes the idea of giving all the sequels the same 2-disc SE treatment the recent ROCKY release had, and putting the whole series in a boxset. So that's what I'm going to wait for.

FOX technically owns the distribution rights to all the Rocky movies. I would love to see them put out Rocky 2-5 as new 2-disc special editions. But, the studio would probably have to see how well the new Rocky 2-disc sold for this to be considered.
This probably wouldn't happen for awhile since they would have to shoot new behind the scenes docs and record commentaries and locate alot of the archived EPK material for each flick.

This is not completely confirmed as my brother posted this without my knowledge. I noticed this in Blockbuster's computer database, however that date will probably change.
I agree, I think all of the Rocky's need to have 2 disc special editions. And I read recently that Stallone would love to do commentaries on them all. Which would be great news!

Looking forward to this and a new boxset, if that happens. Just don't let Brigette Nielson provide commentary, she's crazy!

The actual fight should look GREAT on Blu-ray, since those scenes were shot with an HD camera.

I nearly bought Rockys II-V this week after spotting them on a clearance rack for $9 each, but the fact that they had no special edition content at all put me off, as I was very pleased with the new two-disc set for the first film. I loved Rocky Balboa, and would love to see it (and the rest of the series, even the much-maligned part five) get the deluxe treatment.

From what I heard Stallone say on a radio program promoting the movie last year- there is an "opposite ending" to the movie that he filmed and will be included on the DVD...
