[Japan Blu-ray] Whisper of the Heart

- Whisper of the Heart (Ghibli) Blu-ray 7/20 7140yen (link). Includes English subtitles and dubbing (DTS 5.1). Japanese, Korean, and Chinese subtitles included, German, Chinese, and Korean audio included as well. Japanese audio is in both LPCM stereo and DTS-HD MA 5.1. SP/bonus: PinP (conti), after-recording script, "Baron no Kureta Monogatari", Background art collection ~Inoue Naohisa's art works~, Inoue Naohisa's before one can draw one piece of artwork, and trailers.

will ever see a 4K release. I’ve only seen it on Blu-ray/streaming, and I’d love to watch it in true 4K quality if that’s coming. Has there been any news or announcements about this?

Yes, most of the classic Studio Ghibli catalog is being upgraded to 4K soon. They will go through theaters and Japan first before we see 4K releases here.
