From: Northern New Jersey...or as we say it "Sopranos Country USA"
i got really excited when I read the title...then disappointment later on. But this is one of those movies (along with Judgment At Nuremberg and It's A Mad Mad Mad Mad Mad World) that needs an awesome special edition to bring new viewers in. And this film is Robert Mitchum at his most bad ass (some may say Cape Fear but I disagree).

Definitely some of the best news I've heard since the earlier SE fell through. Criterion I more than trust to do NOTH right, especially when it comes to including Charles Laughton Directs The Night of the Hunter.

They should include "The Night of the Hunter" children's album w/ Charles Laughton reading it as a childrens book on 2nd audio as a bonus, but I'm not holding my breath waiting for that to happen.

If done properly, and with the aformentioned Charles Laughton Directs The Night Of The Hunter film included, this could POTENTIALLY be the best criterion release EVER. Fingers crossed.
