I tried to look up April 2026 releases and didn't see anything particularly noteworthy that would account for the sudden increase in UHD sales.
I remember in years past when the weekly release schedules were a big deal. Now you can barely find them.

Maybe it wasn't a jump in UHD sales, but rather a huge drop in DVD and BD which made UHD look more significant when comparing.

In this case, Mercy was the most popular title. Greenland 2 was #2 and sold 82.27% as many copies as Mercy. Godzilla Minus One was actually the best seller on BD or UHD, despite being the 5th best seller on disc in general.
