Well, the Seattle screenings are one thing. But then you have the few in Toronto, three in San Diego and I had the ability to see it two more times in test screening stage.

In short, they've played it a lot - I don't think it will kill it. But if they're not doing their darndest to raise their expectations and having it leak out in front of them.

On a side note, I want all of these posters

I have been hyping it too all my friends as much as I can (friends who had zero knowledge of the movie or if they did, zero desire to see it), and will continue to do so until it opens next week.

No fucking kidding. I wish there was a way to randomize my ringtone because I'm currently rocking Captain Smiley's and that replaced GLADoS. I'm such a dork.

It's on the score version of the Scott Pilgrim soundtrack. It's available on iTunes.

Re: Scott Pilgrim vs. The World (2009) (Edgar Wright) (starring Michael Cera)

Watched this movie a few times and took my time evaluating it. I am a big fan of Edgar Wright and his work.....not so much of Michael Cera and his. I think this is a movie that will have a cult following and grow as time passes. The movie looks amazing and the editing is top notch. A lot of the cast is fantastic with standouts from most of the Evil Ex's.....the exceptions being the Twins who do practically nothing. Kieran Culkin for me stole the movie and was quite brilliant. Chris Evans was also great as Lucas Lee. Michael Cera was actually not bad in this movie and he was not the problem with it. The problem for me was that from start to end i could not figure out why he wanted to be with Ramona. Her character and the actress playing her just had zero interest all the way through it. He should have stuck with Knives (who was played really well by Emily Wong i think her name is). I know its a story on growing up and the choices we make in our relationships, but just found this a little off base. It was a fun movie, but i found it kinda throw away. Not bad soundtrack as well.
