I guess it's kinda/sorta/not-really like a socially-aware Tomodachi Life? It sounds more like an app than an out-and-out-game.

Would be such a timesaver, though, if you could just buy all the Metroid upgrades immediately, waltz into the room with the final boss, drop a couple of $10/each superpowers and be done with it.

Looks like Miitomo is dropping in most/all of Europe on March 31st. Presumably it'll be the same for North America.

I'm just surprised there has been announcement for a "world building" or combat game like Simpsons or Clash of Clans, those seem to bring in the real money. "Mushroom Kingdom" would probably fit right in.

People on my facebook feed have been going crazy over it. I started reading about it and thought it was just like Ingress until I found out it was the same company.

Nintendo announced Super Mario Run for iOS -- a paid app, not free to play -- at Apple's conference today.

Also Pokemon Go functionality on the iWatch which seems odd since Nintendo is making a peripheral to do something similar. I guess it's totally different demographics though.

But if I heard him correctly, it would be a 1-time fee and not as you go hopefully. As I'm not one to buy any apps ever, and don't mind the wait that comes with the free games I play about what would be the going rate for a game like this then. About $10 or so, perhaps $20 at worst?

Also, Fire Emblem and Animal Crossing are being pushed back (at least in North America?) until early 2017.

I imagine it'll be free to download and sample a few levels but then will require an IAP to unlock the rest. My guess is this will land at $4.99, $9.99 tops. They want everyone to play this and it doesn't appear to be much more than a skin on already perfected runners.

Yeah. Nintendo said it's coming to Android at some point, but it's unclear how long it'll be iOS-exclusive.

Alright cool guys, thx for clarification since while it is not a lot of games out there some are not available on my iPod but are available on say iPhone/iPad.

Pretty big step for Nintendo and seems like a smart move. I realize they've had games out for mobile before but making a Mario game for a non Nintendo console is huge.
