Apparently this is the reaction before and after the FF7 announcement...

Got my Morpheus demo at 2. Looking forward to it. Apparently the Order 1886 demo has a six hours wait now. Yikes

Just watched the Uncharted 4 video. The whole 15 mins. Classic Uncharted, that's great. I like the influences I see from Tomb Raider and Far Cry, without losing Uncharted's essence.
Hopefully they can polish the graphics a little bit more.

Way to talk up and be excited about Killstrain without showing us one but of it. It sounds like the developers aren't even sure what they want the final product to be like.

Kinda a noob question but will the ps4 always use up hard drive space on a disk game? Seems like that it takes up needless space doing that and I thought that was the whole point of having a disk.

Yup it does. I don't think it's a whole install like digital but it will take up HDD space. I will strongly suggest to replace the HDD to a bigger when you first buy it so you don't have to worry about reinstalling anything.

Why discs? I have a slow connection. I could drive to the next state to buy a disc and be home before the download finished. I can generally get the disc cheaper. I can sell a disc.

It's a full install. The idea is to reduce load times as much as possible.

Had a great second day at the PlayStation Experience. Played a bunch more demos. Tried Morpheus. Got some free swag including a Gran Turismo hat and two Disney Infinity characters (Capt America, Nick Fury). Went to a Story Time talk with Shu and a couple of other big shots (Adam Boyes, Rohde Scott) . Got Shu to sign my sadly still-incomplete deck of collector's playing cards! In Japanese!
My first experience with Morpheus was a total dud. You don't get to pick which demo you do. They sent me to one where you control the flight of a character through space, Star Fox style using only your head. Yup you look up to go up, look down to go down. I think you fire by holding on a target for a second. It sucked. I didn't get there early for the chance to play a tech demo I could still play after a cervical fracture. Also the idiot who set it up didn't know how to adjust the visor for different vision and the image was totally blurry. I spoke to someone and asked for another try. Thankfully they agreed and I did a flight simulator demo that was much more immersive. In fact I felt a little dizzy once or twice during it. It's pretty cool tech (especially looking down at my virtual hands and watching as it moves the flight stick in time with me), but I can't imagine I'd ever want to put myself through that degree of sensory deprivation in my own house -- it's very disorienting.
My friend got what was apparently the best demo - a two-person bomb diffusing one where one reads the virtual instructions and inspects the bomb while the other cuts the appropriate wires in time. He said it was amazing.

So sick of the people that think that they should just disrupt the services that many of us use and pay for products in order to be able to use. I wish they would find who they are and rip the toilets right out from under their asses while they are taking a shit just to prove a point. Stop doing shit like this!

Shea, you asked about Kill Strain. I checked that one out for you (okay and the free shirt). It's a F2P game. A really good one it seems. We had a 15 minute match. It's an interesting set-up : You have two teams fighting each other and battling for resources. When you deliver enough resources, you level up your turret guns. There's a third faction of Zombies. When you die, they can drag you and turn you into a Zombie as well. Then you battle both sides. And protect your zombie hive from the living. It's complicated and I didn't really get all the strategy despite having a guy over me telling me what to do all the time in our match. It was an original game (at least to me), looked pretty good from an isometric view (kind of like Diablo III, but of course nowhere near as detailed. I could see myself playing it once released.
