The Wild West game is finally done, I became annoyed with it after a week, and it's been more of a distraction in trying to play the game.

Hope you like the new event better.
The great thing about the Googolplex is that I got the daily task for producing Oscar trophies, and instead of spending some of my current maxed-out stock of trophies on useless stuff then earning more back just to finish the task, I can just pick the appropriate film in the Googolplex.

Ugh, allegedly not enough room on my phone again for an update. Maybe if I could dump all the stinkin' pre-installed bloatware...

Re: The Simpsons: Tapped Out
If you've not completed Level 2 of the current Chili Pepper task.....
Grow Corn! and Turn On Your XP Collider
From TSTOAddicts:
You can wait to start corn at the farm a bit, you can even plant it moments before tapping to complete part 2. Just so long as the farm is growing corn at the instant you complete part 2 you'll cash out. Corn generates 9000 XP when it finishes. If you spend 5 Donuts to turn on the XP Collider for 24 hours, you'll get 5x XP, or 45000 XP. That's a free Level-Up (1 Donut back), and with the Collider still running you'll be able to do the trick with the Rat Trap Truck, or the Bloodmobile, or Tiki Bars.... again, from TSTOA:
Here's the math:
Buy a Bloodmobile ($132,000) then later sell it back ($33,000) for a net cost of $99K.
The purchase earns you 13,200 XP
With the Collider cranking at 5x, that's 66,000 XP.
If you're not yet at Level 101, it takes 40,000 XP to Level-up, so that's 1.65 Levels.
Which is 1.65 Donuts
Do it three times and you've got a fraction under 5 donuts - which is what your Collider cost you. Four times and you make a profit.
Note: The above does NOT take into account any XP multiplier bonus you already have in your Springfield due to owing premium items. For me, I have a +105% bonus running, so instead of 1.65 Level-Ups for the corn I'll get 3.38 Level-Ups.
If you want to do this over a longer period than 24 hours, it'll cost more Donuts up front, but you should easily break even and turn a profit:
5 Donuts = 24 hours -> Need 4 Bloodmobiles, will cost $396,000 (assuming you buy and then sell back)
10 Donuts = 3 Days -> 7 Bloodmobiles, $693k
20 Donuts = 7 Days -> 13 Bloodmobiles, $1.29M
25 Donuts = 10 Days -> 16 Bloodmobiles, $1.59M
I do NOT know how many XP you get for a Rat Trap Delivery Truck, but I do know that their buy/sell prices are $150k/$37.5k for a net cost of $112.5k per cycle. To be a better deal than a Bloodmobile ($99k per cycle, 13.2k XP base) it would have to yield 15,000 xp to breakeven.
Grow Corn! and Turn On Your XP Collider
From TSTOAddicts:
Quick tip for y’all….Grow Corn! As in, start it right now. Before you complete Part 2 of It’s Not the Heat, It’s the Humidity…where you unlock the ability to grow Peppers at Cletus’ Farm, start growing Corn. And turn on your XP Collider (if you’re someone who uses it, and willing to grind out some XP to get more donuts. Otherwise don’t worry about the collider…)
Once you complete Part 2 of It’s Not the Heat, It’s the Humidity the corn will Auto-Complete for you.
This will ONLY work if you start growing corn prior to completing part 2.
I can confirm, this works. I sacrificed some donuts in my game to test.
So start growing and good luck!

So they’re paying 5 donuts to turn on the Collider for 24hrs…then they’re using their in game cash to buy as many Rat Trap Delivery Trucks, Blood Mobiles or other decorations (i’ve seen people say they’re using the Wood Chipper or Tiki Bars…) to get a TON of XP. Then they sell back the Rat Trap Trucks or Blood Mobiles. (or other item)
They’re then left with Leveling up a TON all at once and earning donuts for it.
It’s the best way to turn your game cash into donuts.

Re: The Simpsons: Tapped Out
More math:
When I get home this evening I will start my corn and charge the collider. My Springfield has an overall bonus multiplier of 105%, so one Bloodmobile flip should earn me 13,200 XP (base), 5X (collider bonus), 105% (Springfield bonus) = 135,300 XP. That's 3.38 Levels (and 3.38 Donuts). I am at Level 63 right now, so I have 38 Level-Ups before I get to Level 101 (where the XPs needed to Level-Up increase to 500,000 per level). So flipping 12 Bloodmobiles (38/3.38, rounded up) will get me there. For a cost of 5 Donuts and just under $1.2M in currency I will be at Level 101 and will have raked in 38 Donuts.

Scratch-R Math:
100 Donuts (1/50 odds)
50 Donuts (1/25 odds)
20 Donuts (1/10 odds)
12 Donuts (1/5 odds)
9 Donuts (1/3 odds)
6 Donuts (1/3.3 odds)
Expected Value = 13.24 Donuts
$1.99 Box yields 12 + 13.24 = 25.24 Donuts (12.6 Donuts per Dollar)
$4.99 Stack yields 60 + 13.24 = 73.24 Donuts (14.6 Donuts per Dollar)
$9.99 Tray yields 132 + 26.48 = 158.48 Donuts (15.8 Donuts per Dollar)
$19.99 Truckload yields 300 (15.0 Donuts per Dollar)
With the two Golden Scratch-R's, the $9.99 Tray is a better deal than the $19.99 Truckload.... ON AVERAGE. Of course, with a random Scratch-R you might get just 6 or 9 donuts instead of the average of 13. YMMV
I have enough $$ in my Google Play account (thanks to Google Opinion Rewards) to get the Tray, which I will. By the end of this weekend I should have a lot of donuts... I might just get one/two of the Premium Decorations with the profit.

That's all excellent information, thanks, kenbuzz. I'll put some of that math in the OP. Could be good for a wiki post, too.
I think I'll spend the $10 on the donut tray. Can't believe the last time I actually spent money on this game was in December, 2014 when starseed1981 and davidh777 helped me pick up a donut deal via some iTunes gift cards I received (I only use an Android platform, currently). I think I can spare the ten bucks. I'm at 220 donuts right now (after today's bonuses) so a few more on the cheap would be nice.
Edit: did my two Scratch-Rs... for 6 and 12. 6 + 12 + 132 = 140 for $10 or 14 donuts per dollar. Eh.

I said, "Great tip! I know I'm just about done with part 2, and my current crop should be done growing, so I'll start the corn before I click on the tasks to finish part 2."
Of course, part 2 is at Cletus' farm, so tapping on the farm finished my current crop AND part 2.

Aaaaand I'm back to "not enough storage space" for whatever the slight update is. I just don't get it. There's lots of space on my SD card (where I've "moved" Tapped Out to several times but it still needs to be sent back?!) and even some space on my phone. I deleted apps, moved apps.
So. Frustrating.

Got to level 250 last night.
I'm looking to get a premium decoration with the highest multiplier. I have a 168.60 XP multiplier.
Any recommendations? I only care about the multiplier.

Re: The Simpsons: Tapped Out
I was on Level 64, had 304 Donuts and about $4.5M in currency.
I grew corn and spent 5 Donuts to turn on the XP Collider. I also dug out of inventory all of my Springfield Heights buildings - because they each one have a 1%-5% XP-only bonus. With everything out I had upped my XP bonus to ~340%, and with the 5x running that worked out to about 17x in total.
During the 24h I cashed out the corn, then spent ALL of my money churning Bloodmobiles (when I had > $150k) and Weather Stations (when I was < $150K). I also took advantage of the Gil deal to get a Tray of donuts (and two Golden Scratch-Rs) for $10 in Google Rewards cash. My Scratch-Rs only yielded a 6 and a 9, so I ended up with 147 "bought" Donuts. I played hourly to maximize my $ and XP.
When the 24h was up and the Collider shut down, I was level 125 and had about 350,000 XP toward the next Level-up. I was down to $8,000 in game currency, but was sitting on 507 Donuts. So, for the investment of 5 Donuts, $4.5M in game currency, and $10 in Google's money, I moved up 61 levels and collected a net of 203 Donuts (including the 5 I initially invested). This morning, I Levelled-Up to 126, (+1 Donut), completed a Daily Task (5 Donuts!) and it the end of a series that earned me a Mystery Box (10 more donuts!). At present I am on Level 126 with $310K in currency, 523 Donuts and 289,000 XP toward Level 127.
Edited to Add:
The "Hidden" XP-only bonus for Springfield Heights is:
+1% for each Private Island (Levels 2-5 only) (3x)
+1% for each Deluxe Condo (10x)
+2% for each Business Center (10x)
+3% for each Valet Parking (10x)
+4% for each Classic Mansion (10x)
+5% for each Modern Mansion (10x)
That's a total of 153% extra XP if all 53 buildings are out of storage.

Since I won't be saving $ for any more $2.0M buildings that come with new levels, I'll start stockpiling cash and shoot for $10M to spend next time. If I can get 17x XP bonus with a Collider for 24h, math says I can churn through 100 Bloodmobiles, earning 13.2k x 17 = 224.4k XP for each, or ~45 level-ups.

Here's where I am at.
Level 60, about half way to level 61.
I don't get where it takes 45,000 to level up.. For my game it shows that I'm level 60. My xp is 459,939/1,011,464. I need slightly over total 1 mil xp to go up to level 61.
I have 57 donuts
Cash is 5,244,394
I have 5 * in Springfield with a bonus of 81.55% currently.
I haven't gotten all the way through Sprinfield heights yet

Re: The Simpsons: Tapped Out
When you get to Level 61, the cost to Level-up drops significantly. Where it takes 1.0M+ right now to go from 60->61, it's only 40K to go 61 -> 62 -> 63 ... -> 101. At 101 the cost goes up to 500K and remains at that level thereout.
So hang in there. It's a steep hill to climb to get past 60, but then the ride accelerates right on the other side of the peak.

Re: The Simpsons: Tapped Out
Ahh.. thanks.. Thought for a minute that my game was messed up.
I might dabble in the fast leveling up once I hit 61 then. I still haven't spend a dime on the game and have some premium content.. either through past mystery boxes... or by the game giving out donuts that I spent on items.
I keep getting tempted to buy donuts to get some things.. but so far I've kept my streak of this being a truly free game, for me, alive.

Re: The Simpsons: Tapped Out
I don't remember this being listed as part of the purchase deal, but I decided to go for it and pick up Roscoe and the Ajax Steel Mill for 150 donuts and I got a 50-donut rebate back so the total price was just 100. So that's a voiced premium character, an animated building, and a quest line for 100 donuts. Not too bad. This post has more details.
I also picked up the Pro Shop and Peyote Coyote because it's awesome.

I'm tempted by the Steel Mill--100 for a character and building is pretty good.
My Gil deal that disappeared during the glitch is back, though, so I'd have to figure out if I want to spend nearly all my stash on both. Might skip Gil.
