Re: Batman: Arkham City Thread

I've already got the Collector's Edition game and have downloaded all the other DLC, but I'm anxiously waiting the Harley Quinn's Revenge pack!!

IIRC, flip under the entrance, go over to the side and up the hole and then climb to the top and follow the walkway around. Something like that.

Not interested in the GOTY edition, but if the Harley Quinn DLC is story-related and not more challenge map crap, I will be picking it up for sure.

I hope it's story-related as well. Especially since Harley was

at the end of Arkham City. Though labelling it as "the final chapter" makes me wonder if they're not going to make a third game.

Also, i wasn't a fan of the revised look for Harley we see in that blink-and-you-miss-it clip of the DLC.

Spoiler:
I get that she's supposed to be in mourning but she doesn't look quite right with so much black hair.

Well at least she isn't wearing her DCnU costume.

Actually, it looked loosely inspired on that.

Wait, what? You have to complete a catwoman mission in order to finish the side missions? Thats pretty much BS.. I don't have the catwoman DLC as I am borrowing the game from a friend.

Re: Batman: Arkham City Thread

I don't think you need to have her to complete anything except the Cat Woman trophies.

Also, if you are her, I think you can leave the museum and go to a swap point where you can switch to Batman. I'm not sure about that, though.

Re: Batman: Arkham City Thread

Yeah. Find some cats gathered on a rooftop (such locations are marked on your map if you finished the main game) and you can switch between Catwoman and Batman.

You need to climb below the ledge you're on when you come into the room with the water. From there you'll find a access panel back onto the ledge but past a fence that was blocking your path. From there you can pounce to the roof and climb on it around to the only part of the museum Catwoman needs to get into.

Also, adrenaline78, if you don't have the Catwoman DLC, you won't have her missions come up.

Re: Batman: Arkham City Thread

How do you get the pressure plates that are on the sides of the buildings? I flew into 1, but getting three of them seem next to impossible. The single ones are pretty simple.. but those that you need to get two or three. ugh!

It just takes practice and luck sometimes. There's a wall jump that you should've learned that makes it easier.

I can not get one of those. Plates on 2 walls and one on the ground. It annoys me how much I've tried this and still not gotten it.

Re: Batman: Arkham City Thread

I was finally able to get all of those, except for the section that had 6 question marks on two levels and you have to explode the top three and quick-fire on the bottom three. Was never fast enough to get it.

Kinda cool. Hopefully the next game we'll be allowed to explore Gotham City as a whole and not just be contained to a certain area. Not that Arkham City isn't pretty huge as is, but it'd be awesome to explore the streets of Gotham, make your way to Wayne Manor, Wayne Tower, etc.

Really stoked for Harley's Revenge though. From what I've read about it the content sounds pretty good and not just some half assed filler like a lot of DLC. The only thing that disappoints me a bit is that I hear you don't get to explore the full area of Arkham City with Robin and are limited to areas of the game where his story takes place.

I guess Scarecrow will play a major role in the third Arkham game.
