This list is from Entertainment Weekly as of December 9th.

I added Cobra Kai into January 1st as that was a recent change.

Rotten Tomatoes also published another list you can look at if something is missing.

https://editorial.rottentomatoes.com...re-dates-2021/

and here's another list from Metacritic that you can use for reference as well.

https://www.metacritic.com/feature/tv-premiere-dates

If you notice something missing that you care about and that people in this forum might care about, please feel free to mention it. This list is subject to change, especially with the pandemic.

If you don't see XXX show on the list, it means the date hasn't been announced yet.

Bachelor in Paradise returns on Aug 16, which means it will run maybe 3-4 weeks. It has not been decided if Chris Harrison will be allowed to return, or if he'll be consulting with Tom Bergeron on retirement options.

Re: Notable 2021 TV Premiere Dates

NBC will premiere "Capitol One College Bowl", Tuesday June 22nd at 9pm CT. Peyton Manning will be host. This is a reboot of the venerated series that pit teams of three representing various colleges against each other. I believe it was a Sunday afternoon show, but I'm old.

Re: Notable 2021 TV Premiere Dates

The CW last week released the remainder of their summer schedule. Lots of "In-season" shows are airing their remaining episodes this summer.

Riverdale is on hiatus until August. It still has 9 episodes to air. I think it's highly likely that season 6 will be pushed to 2022. I doubt they will air it in October. The actors would literally have no break once they wrap filming season 5.

Here is the CW’s summer schedule:

Wednesday, June 23
8-9 p.m. Kung Fu (Original episode)
9-10 p.m. In the Dark (New Season 2 premiere date)

Sunday, July 11
8-9 p.m. DC’s Legends of Tomorrow (Season 6B premiere)
9-9:30 p.m. Wellington Paranormal (Series premiere)
9:30-10 p.m. Wellington Paranormal (Original episode)

Thursday, July 15
8-9 p.m. Walker (Original episode)
9-10 p.m. Coroner (Season 3 premiere)

Sunday, July 18
8-9 p.m. DC’s Legends of Tomorrow (Original episode)
9-9:30 p.m. Wellington Paranormal (Original episode)
9:30-10 p.m. Dead Pixels (Season 2 premiere)

Monday, July 26
8-9 p.m. Roswell, New Mexico (Season 3 premiere)
9-10 p.m. The Republic of Sarah (Original episode)

Tuesday, August 10
8-9 p.m. DC’s Stargirl (Season premiere)
9-10 p.m. Superman & Lois (Original episode)

Wednesday, August 11
8-9 p.m. Riverdale (Original episode)
9-10 p.m. In the Dark (Original episode)

Friday, August 13
8-8:30 p.m. Masters of Illusion (Season 7 premiere)
8:30-9 p.m. Masters of Illusion (Encore episode)
9-10 p.m. Dynasty (Original episode)

Thursday, August 19
8-9 p.m. Burden of Truth (Season 4 premiere)
9-10 p.m. Coroner (Original episode)

Tuesday, August 24
8-9 p.m. DC’s Stargirl (Original episode)
9-10 p.m. Supergirl (Original episode)

The good news I suppose is there is going to be a lot of new and continuing content airing this summer on TV. Whether or not you have time to watch most is another story

NBC will have no comedies this Fall. They are all being pushed to 2022.

However, Brooklyn 99's final season will air after the Olympics in August and wrap before Fall.

Re: Notable 2021 TV Premiere Dates

Because of the huge success of Loki's premiere on a Wednesday (as opposed to the usual Friday drops), all of Disney+'s upcoming original series "drop days" are moving to Wednesdays.

or so they are not in the way of Netflix, but ok Disney. Good luck with getting by people to believe that.

Who cares what people believe? I don't hear anyone complaining about Loki dropping on Wed. And when it comes to anything MCU related, Disney has no competition to worry about; especially Netflix.

Re: Notable 2021 TV Premiere Dates

Netflix has not even released a big buzzy new show on Friday in many months. I suppose Shadow and Bone has gotten some buzz in the YA crowd, but everything else is just stuff that isn't generating much or any press. A lot of the stuff they've been cranking out comes from foreign territories.

Re: Notable 2021 TV Premiere Dates

I'll put these all together in a Fall thread at some point.

Man, Blood and Treasure being postponed until 2022. That sucks. It was such a fun summer series 2 years ago. It got screwed by the pandemic last year, so now they want to save it for a midseason series. Bummer.

B&T never even finished filming of Season 2. It’s just a burn off at this point. The contracts are expired.

There's nothing on the list, but I assume The Voice will fill that spot.
