Next to Flash this is easily my favorite show on TV. The cast and chemistry are great. The stories are fun and fresh. Plus its usually just fun and brightens my day.

Still really enjoying this show. ^Agree about the chemistry of the cast. Henry's M.E. assistant has grown on me--he's been pretty funny these last couple of eps. Hopefully this gets renewed, but it's looking iffy.
I find the female lead distractingly beautiful. Sometimes I just want to pause my DVR and stare at her face.

It is not a so so show with mediocre ratings, it is in my view the best new show of the year.

Bump
FYI, tonight is the season and possibly series finale for those who care. This is very unlikely to come back for a 2nd season unfortunately.

Re: Forever (ABC) -- Series Thread
Forever is indeed a fun procedural with some light serialized storytelling.
However, it got stuck in a difficult timeslot with shows it simply couldn't compete with (Person of Interest and Chicago Fire)
The show's popularity shouldn't be reflected by the number of people who had things to say in this thread, which was quite light. Procedurals are so hit and miss in popularity here.

Re: Forever (ABC) -- Series Thread
According to TVLine.com after tonight's episode, Matt Miller pitched a 2nd season to ABC and he said it went well. But, whether the show comes back depends on ABC, scheduling and Pilots they have in production. Financially it probably doesn't make sense to bring back a low rated drama produced by a different studio. But, crazier things have happened.

If it does not come back, it ended on a really good note. Even if ABC turns it down it is of unusual quality so someone may want to continue it.
Tonight's episode was excellent. Few shows I have ever seen have had such good chemistry between all the characters. Really wish it comes back, shows this good should not be cancelled.

Unfortunately it's official. Cancelled.
I have around 6-7 episodes left to finish. I'll still finish it off since it didn't end on a cliffhanger.

Bummer, I was really hoping for a miracle.
Watch them. It ends on a good note. There is closure, of a sort, to some of the ongoing story lines. There is a new development in the finale, but it's not really a cliffhanger.

Re: Forever (ABC) -- Series Thread
I was hoping ABC didn't cancel the show and give it a second season.
Too bad ABC didn't do a crossover episode with Castle and Forever.

Too bad it's gone as I really enjoyed this. That said, the finale works as a series closer. I thought it was an excellent sendoff.
