True Blood (S7E07) -- "May Be the Last Time" -- 8/03/14
Eric (Alexander Skarsgard), Pam (Kristin Bauer van Straten) and Mr. Gus (Will Yun Lee) close in on Sarah (Anna Camp) in Dallas. Adilyn (Bailey Noble) and Wade (Noah Matthews) find a temporary haven, and unexpected hospitality. Refusing to accept the inevitable, a desperate Sookie (Anna Paquin) turns to unexpected resources in search of a miracle. Bill (Stephen Moyer) recalls the inexorable forces that led him to his marriage 170 years earlier. A familiar face resurfaces in Bon Temps. Sam (Sam Trammell) faces a quandary.
Written by Craig Chester; directed by Simon Jayes.

I hope we get a Hoyt and Jessica scene before it's over. Other than that not really sure I care what happens to any of these characters.

Didn't Warlow kill Niall? Or do something to him to make us think he was gone for good?
I was hoping Jason would bang Hoyt's girlfriend before the end the episode. Maybe in the next episode...
Does anyone give a f*** about Andy's daughter and Holly's son? Why is the show wasting time on them but gives almost next to no time to Sam and Lafayette?
Anna Camp should really stay a blonde.

I can't believe they brought Niall back for that stupid scene that went nowhere.
What a wasted opportunity!
For a moment I thought the writers had concocted some grand idea to tie everything back together with the fairies and Sookie's family history and Hep V and her connection with Bill Compton.
I mean why else do we keep getting these pointless flashbacks at Bill's old life pre-vampire?
But instead we got Rutger Hauer basically phoning it in, eating spaghetti and collecting a paycheck...

So are they trying to hook up Jason With Hoyt's hot blonde girl friend, so he is not left alone once they finally hook up Jessica with Hoyt?
I hope Eric gets the cure, and Bill decides to not take the cure so he can be with his wife and kids again.

I actually thought it was pretty good (although part of that could be joy that its coming to a close). So, for me at least, that puts the good episodes above the terrible ones for this season 4-3. Fingers crossed it continues in the final three acts.
I'm also hoping for a Hoyt / Jessica reunion but I don't know if that's in the cards at this point. I would love for Hoyt to rescue Jessica and them end up together though.
With only three episodes left, and the armada of characters they still have, I don't know that there is enough time to give everyone closure.

So it only took Sookie a couple of days to completely forget Alcide.
As dorky as Hoyt was, and with him having no memory of dating Jessica, I have a hard time believing he could pull Ashley Hinshaw.

This episode definitely confirmed that Sookie is one of the most annoying and completely dislikable main characters in all of television. How many episodes left? Tough to stick it out.

I felt like this episode could have been a half hour with all the time they wasted on pointless scenes.

Sookie is the embodiment of the kind of woman that is nothing but trouble. All she touches turns to shit and anyone who falls for her will suffer. Yet, people will kill for her and ruin their own lives to protect her.
Pam is on point with her hatred of Sookie.

It's like every bad livejournal fanfic turned into an HBO series.

Aside from a couple of nice sex scenes and Adilyn in Bra and Panties, did anything actually happen storywise in this episode ?

I can't even tell who the main characters are anymore. Arlene gets more screentime than Sookie. Andy and Holly get more than Eric and Pam. They should have already killed Sam and Lafayette off those two are so much in the background at this point. I might just be bitter though because we aren't getting an Adilyn/Jessica dream.

The Eric and Pam storyline is great, TB at its best.
Everything else, not so much.

The same thing was going through my mind when this ended. It's hard to believe there are only 3 more episodes.
It's probably telling that I don't work up the motivation to watch this season's eps until later in the week. Past seasons I couldn't wait to watch.
