True Blood (S7E02) -- "I Found You" -- 6/29/14
A trio of hostages taken in the Bellefleur's attack looks to a familiar face as a possible liberator from the H-vamps. Sookie and Jason (Ryan Kwanten) visit the neighboring town of Saint Alice, where a young woman's diary offers clues to the potential fate of Bon Temps. Spurned by Lafayette (Nelsan Ellis), a desperate Lettie Mae (Adina Porter) turns to Willa (Amelia Rose Blaire) to channel her family past. Vince whips his fellow vigilantes into a dangerous frenzy. Pam's (Kristin Bauer van Straten) search for her maker leads her to a very familiar place.
Written by Kate Barnow; directed by Howard Deutch.

Yeah, I'm mentally tuning out now. I'll still watch the remaining episodes, but I'm no longer looking forward to anything new. So I guess Eric has the hepitides now? Eh, who cares.

Save the opening with Eric and Jason, that was another awful episode.
If they are trying to hint that Eric gave himself Hep V, I am going to need tequila to get through the rest of this season. What a mess.

I get the feeling they are just going to start killing off everyone and add so much blood and gore to make up for lack of story, that we'll end up like LOST

Wow, almost painful to consider watching 8 more episodes of this. But it is a show that I have seen every episode and have enjoyed but damn. And why the hell is everyone dead in that town? If you know that are coming back just stay in your house and make sure that all windows are covered up until morning.

Speaking only for myself, I could have gone my whole life without having to sit through that seemingly endless opening.
But let's move on to some of the positive...
- Jessica (she has come into her own as a Vampire and a woman)
- Sookie going to Bill and remembering when things were better between them
- Lafayette knowing he has an ability, but deciding "Nah, I'm good."
- Fairy Blast
- Eric found... but (apparently) with Hep V

Yeah, this episode was even worse than last week's, which makes it probably the worst episode in the show's run so far. You know who's worse than Tara? Tara's fucking mom! They go ahead and replace an annoying character with a far more annoying character. And there was so much pointless treading water.

Before this series ends, I would like to see Jessica redeem herself, then fly out to Alaska reintroducing herself to Hoyt. Probably the one hook up on this show i really got behind. eh..
Arlene and Holly breathing a sigh of relief when that teacher obliged to help them while dragging another victim upstairs had me laughing. I lost it later when she melted between her thighs. Carrie Preston = MVP of this episode. Hope she gets her second guest star emmy for The Good Wife.
I thought this was only slightly better than last week esp. with the campy comic elements that draw me into the show.
But then the writers go heavy handed with the dramatics/allegory. Plus the diary entries that not-so-subtly paralleled Sookie/Bill's first encounter only reinforced how badly the show has suffered in quality. The NRA hillbillies were as uninteresting as Sookie and her posse. oh yeah, Sookie has been the worst.

Does Jessica have Hep-V now too? She was looking at some sort of bite infection on her arm.
Yep, last night's show was pretty bad, with the exception of Jason and Andy (I liked the Starbucks card bit, as well as Jason's "pizza forensics"), whom I'd rather watch for the whole hour instead of the rest of these boring characters. It's like the other actors aren't even trying anymore.

This show has really gone off the rails. It was definitely down last year, but so far this is pretty bad. Thankfully we only have to power through 10 eps and we can be done with it forever.
I did laugh my ass off at the pizza forensics line.

Who else would just like to see Sookie and wolf boy die next episode and just spend the rest on Eric and Pam?

How in the hell could the whole town die like that? Were they stupid enough to continue to go out at night?

Did this episode confirm that the series is still in 2011? That was the latest date Sookie was reading in the diary, but they were acting like it was a recent event.

Been a fan since the pilot. That being said, this was the worst episode in the series by far. This final season is not looking good.

I'm sure this is the case. The first two seasons took place over just a few weeks, if I remember correctly. There was a time jump when Sookie was in fairy heaven or whatever and in last season's finale, but I could see only three years having passed in show time.
