These have been delayed/postponed:

Escape from la
The firm
The score
k-19

Thanks, Paramount!

Fortunately no must haves for me although 48 hours and The Firm would be eventual purchases

Were DVDs ever delayed this often?

They told us Blu-ray would be faster, and more efficient, and have better connection to the Internet!

I wonder if Paramount will actually produce some special features for South Park BLU. The DVD was barebones and we never got a Special Edition.

It would be nice if they did! I doubt they will though...

I'd really like to hear a Matt & Trey audio commentary, even if they didn't do a full length one....like the mini-commentaries for the season releases...if they provided enough good info and stories in only 25-30 minutes then I'd be happy...though I imagine they probably do have enough stuff to talk about for the whole running length of this one....

The only delays in DVDs were from Criterion. That's all I can remember.

Blu-ray.com said that there would be a commentary, a music video and three trailers (all in HD).

Re: Blu-ray release announcements - Part IV

Warner has announced a trio of children's animated titled for release on Blu-ray on October 6: 'A Charlie Brown Christmas', 'Dr. Seuss' Horton Hears a Who!' and 'Dr. Seuss' How the Grinch Stole Christmas' (not to be mistaken with the theatrical feature-length movies). All three titles will be released as "Deluxe Editions".

'A Charlie Brown Christmas' will include a bonus Peanuts TV special.

'Horton Hears a Who!' will include the feature-length documentary "In Search of Dr. Seuss", the singalong music video "You Can Heart Horton, Horton Can Hear You!", and two more animated stories based on Dr. Seuss' work: "Dr. Seuss' Butter Battle Book", and "Daisy-Head Mayzie." Apparently missing is a third segment included in the DVD, "Horton Hatches the Egg."

Extras for 'How the Grinch Stole Christmas' are still unconfirmed.
Nice to see some classic animation on Blu-ray, but Deluxe has me scared these will be priced a bit too high. And how long are these films anyway?

A certain David Fincher film has been announced for 10/13. But the first rule is I'm not supposed to talk about it...

Don't be silly. It's obviously a collection of his Paula Abdul videos.

Nah, it's probably gonna be Alien 3. It's not that Copper Blue can't talk about it, it's just that he doesn't want to.

If it's what I think, to Fox for finally getting around to it.

TDB reported four Trek films, The Wrath of Khan, The Voyage Home, The Undiscovered Country and First Contact will be available separately 9/22.

LOL. Put them in a boxset called "Trek - Just the Evens".
