Just curious, why the Criterion comments? Are they generally cheaper here? Asking because I just ordered four Criterions from DeepDiscount and they were all cheaper there.

Yes, Planet usually has the cheapest Criterions. DD will occasionally best their price on the new release Criterions tho.

Based on my playing around with select titles, you have no chance of getting pre-orders unless they ship in the very near future. I was able to get The Fugitive: Season 2, Volume 1, which ships next Tuesday. So titles shipping while the sale will still be live may be discounted.

It pays to take your time, get organized and compare.
All the Legend releases I was planning to order at DD were cheaper at DVDPlanet. Combined with a few other titles, I save a few bucks more than I was originally projecting. Found out I had more store credit left too, which is always a nice suprise

Since DVD Planet incorrectly list Mishima as having a 4/08 release date, it is eligible for the discount. Furies and Patriotism also have incorrect release dates (both 6/17 instead of 7/1), so perhaps they will be eligible as well, if the sale is still active on 6/17.

The first of what will probably be several orders (though hopefully this will be the largest.)

Postwar Kurosawa (Eclipse/1946-1955) - $35.98
The Delirious Fictions of William Klein - $23.98
Hitchcock: 3 Disc Collector's Edition - $20.96
O Lucky Man! - $11.19
Adventures of Baron Munchausen - $11.17
Mishima: A Life in Four Chapters - $22.38
TOTAL: $125.66

I'm probably going to go back and pick up the Agnes Varda boxset, along with a few more of the Eclipse sets I don't have.

I ordered the 2-Disk Invisible Target (Dragon Dynasty Collection) and the release is wrong on that title as well. It says its in-stock but the actual release date isnt until next week. Great deal.

No joy here. The affiliate link doesn't seem to be generating the 20% discount, and I do not know a coupon code to enter on the checkout screen.

Duh, the code is 20offsale
(like it always is)
