Re: Halt and Catch Fire (AMC) -- Season 3 Thread -- Mutiny rising on Aug 23, 2016!

It wouldn't surprise me if we get another time jump next season into the mid to late 90s. The Internet is kind of dull before serious venture capital started flooding Silicon Valley with the Dotcom...

Re: Halt and Catch Fire (AMC) -- Season 3 Thread -- Mutiny rising on Aug 23, 2016!

That was definitely a confused business plan. They mostly handwaved away a serious proposal to allow the drama unfold.

I assume the writers don't have the next season fully mapped out and left...

Re: Halt and Catch Fire (AMC) -- Season 3 Thread -- Mutiny rising on Aug 23, 2016!

An odd season finale with the time jump and virtual reboot once again of the premise. Entertaining but awkward in a way. I'm guessing when they wrote it they didn't know if they were coming back for...

Re: Halt and Catch Fire (AMC) -- Season 3 Thread -- Mutiny rising on Aug 23, 2016!

That was another dark turn for the series. Everything unfolded much differently than I expected. While I like everything that has happened this season, Joe does seem like a different character.

Re: Halt and Catch Fire (AMC) -- Season 3 Thread -- Mutiny rising on Aug 23, 2016!

Easily the best episode we've gotten since season one. A lot of very believable drama and that ending with Joe turning his back on Ryan was brutal.

Ryan is going to get shut out of Joe's new...

Re: Halt and Catch Fire (AMC) -- Season 3 Thread -- Mutiny rising on Aug 23, 2016!

The best thing remaining about Halt and Catch Fire at this point is Toby Huss' genuine portrayal of Bosworth. It barely resembles the show I loved in season one.

It appears they are turning Joe...
