Yeah I agree I always thought that Gil and Catherine had alot more chemistry than he ever had with Sarah. It was nice to see her give him a nice warm smile at the end before he ventured off to Costa...

Very nice sendoff for Petersen and Grissom's character.

Yes, he will retain his credit as Executive Producer, but won't be involved on a day to day basis, especially since that EW article mentions he now lives in Chicago.

In the new Entertainment Weekly, Petersen says he may make a guest appearance next season.
