Ouch. GH:WoR sold about 86,000 copies in its first week. That can't be very much better than Green Day: Rock Band did.

To drag this back up: I made it this level last night, and Renegade seems to be the same re-record from Rock Band. Same with Night Ranger. They are both listed as 2009 versions.

Geez. Once you get past 2112, it's back to the old Neversoft knuckle-busting chore of a game. Combined with the stupid story, I might be done with this already.

I went ahead and picked it up. The story mode is just embarrassing, but the game play is pretty much GH5. It'll get the job done for the next few weeks.

Yeah, he only played his songs. It caused some people to complain. I actually hated the whole deal where he walks up behind "you" on stage and the brief little "what what whaaaat?" comedy routine...

The HO chords will probably be a lot easier to hit in GH5, too. Most of the time, I just strum them in RB2 because I have such a problem timing them.

I'd love to see RB adopt the open bass note...

Another thing I've read is that they're having to do the GHWT export in waves as they get licensing. So about 35 songs are in the first export, minus a lot of stuff like the Ozzy tracks, Hotel...

To be fair, though, I think that was set-up by the player. I don't think the game places them like that. That said....well, yeah, the video.

Nice work by the GH folks! Most of GHWT and Smash Hits (and DLC as we'd heard) will export for a fee to GH5 and Band Hero.
