I didn’t read reviews. And enjoyed it. Nothing remarkable. But a nice Hellboy adventure.

Now i I see it is being trashed online.

I love GDTs movies. Hellboy included.

Other than Dads death, I think this could have simply been a prequel.

If you like Neil Marshall’s movies this falls in line with them.

I think that was Hellboy 3. Sounds like a different project from this. It's all speculation until someone speaks up.

GDT did a poll (on Twitter?). Then he had a meeting with producers (and maybe the major players?). They were told 'no' and I think that's when it died.
