Was it a work print? I always heard that Woo just had to cut it for U.S. distribution?

For years they said that the UK DVD version was uncut or least it had more blood and inserts.

I wonder if the Hard Target is the unrated version from the UK. Granted, I can't verify that the UK version is unrated, but still.
