Is the online workaround for the member coupons still working? I'm trying to use the 5/50$ one, and while it says 'Coupon was applied', the price stays the same.

Hmm so I'd say the odds of them overlapping are probably pretty slim. Unless someone on their side sleeps on it and forgets to switch off one sale before turning on the other.

You can place an order for a pre-order item to get the membership, then cancel the order once you've received your member number.

I was so scared that the orders were going to get cancelled, and I wanted to be able to reserve my titles in store ASAP (and not reserve them for nothing) that I ended up placing far fewer orders...

They all dropped to 50% off, and the three 50$ titles I had saved in my basket worked! (Battle of Algiers, Leopard and Carlos).

I think the new terms state that if you ask for a refund, they'll deduct whatever savings your got from the membership from said refund.
