It is listed on Netflix streaming as The Invisible Guest. Pretty cool little Spanish thriller. Caught me off guard I liked it quite a bit except the ending was predictable unfortunately.

Logan Lucky...what a fantastic and fun film. just pure joy and fun. nothing to take seriously. like a poor man's Ocean's 11 (which is even referenced). just great casting and script and plays it smart when you think it's all dumb. A lot of fun and hope this finds an audience.

I just watched Lady Bloodfight on Vudu. Used a $5 credit from a few weeks ago.
The movie is also available on Netflix.
Wow, to my surprise, this was actually a pretty awesome martial arts movie. It's from Chris Nahon, the director of Jet Li's movie Kiss of the Dragon. It was also written and produced by Bey Logan.
Amy Johnston, a long-time stuntwoman, is the lead and she was pretty awesome in this. To make a long story short, this is basically the female version Bloodsport. It deals with the Kumite tournament and also takes place in Hong Kong
If you're a fan of the martial arts genre, this is a worthy watch on Netflix. It has decent production value for a lower budget Asian produced action movie.
I just watched this and agree that it's a pretty fun watch. The cast is good and the fights were well done. I thought the camera work during the fights was done really well, too--it was very dynamic.

Baywatch (2017) — Better than I expected and while the humor was uneven, and relied too much on dick jokes, I did manage to laugh a few times. Not nearly as successful in self-reference like 21 Jump Street, but still entertaining enough. 3.25/5

What Happened To Monday - 4/5
Saw this on Netflix and was surprised and entertained. Good performance by Noomi Rapace on playing all seven sisters. Check it out if you can.

The Lincoln Lawyer (2011) — Really solid legal thriller featuring a great performance from McConaughey (so good, IMO he should've gotten a nomination). Shame a sequel never came to fruition, but understandable given it only made $75M worldwide on a $40M budget. 4.0/5

They were supposed to do a tv series that never ultimately materialized.
I watched Lemon. Great cast, very odd tone to it, sort of what I expect out of Duplass movies but they generally fail to deliver.
Well shot if somewhat standard art house fare, it gets better as it goes.

Inconceivable (2017) — Another Lifetime Movie that got a slightly better budget with Nic Cage who hits a new low playing the stereotypical dumb husband we've seen time and again in these movies. 1.5/5

Checked this out from the library and thought it was a cool, but fucked up, little film:
Surprised there was no thread for it since it stars Michael Shannon.

Batman and Harley Quinn (2017) – I know many didn't care for this, but for the most I found it entertaining and funny. That said, it is pretty much an extended episode of The New Batman Adventures animated series. 3.25/5
Blade Runner: The Final Cut (1982) – It's a rare thing where not only just about every shot can be captured and framed, but to also be one hell of a movie? I hadn't seen this movie in many years (at least 5 years now). What a fantastic sci-fi film noir through and through and great performances all around, but Rutger Hauer stood out. 4.75/5

Re: Last Movie You Watched Thread
Gridlock'd...recorded this from cable. had no idea what to expect or what it was about, but heard of it. i read the description and it was nothing like i thought it was when it was released.
and, i never watch any movie i record from cable. i record them because i want to see them, but never do get around to and finally delete them.
so late night last night i just pressed play and it really blew me away. i stayed awake even at like 2am to finish. it was funny. Tupac was showing some real range and just confirmed even more why i liked him as an actor (just got Gang Related digitially).
the chemistry between him and Roth was great. the whole story and flow was so Boyle's Trainspotting, but not nearly as clever. but this was really really good. i was so pleasantly surprised. that last shot was perfect.
