Eh, Murphy certainly isn’t at the top of his game anymore but at least he could bring something interesting to the role. I think we can all imagine exactly what Morgan is going to do for this role. He’s going to be the loud, obnoxious, brother.

He always seemed like he was drunk and angry. Never was a big fan.

I'm not a fan of Tracy Morgan either. Chris Rock maybe would have been a better choice.

Tracy Morgan has just this one persona and while I liked him in little doses in 30 Rock, his routine can get obnoxious fast.

How about Kevin Hart?

And this quote "We started a script with Eddie, and after the success he had with Amazon Prime on Coming 2 America, he got himself booked up heavily." Are we supposed to believe that because of "C2A" Eddie's phone suddenly blew up!? Right.

Rock absolutely would have been the best choice.

You would think since they’re triplets they would at least try to keep their ages somewhat close. Arnie is 74, DeVito is 76. Hart is 42. Not that Tracy Morgan is much better. He’s 52.

Who knows what the hell that means. There was a little spooge left at the bottom of the test tube in the drawer for 20 years?

Somebody like Danny Glover (who was decent at comedy in the last Jumanji movie) would probably be more appropriate casting.

You guys must really want this to be DOA before it even starts filming.

If you're going by age, then it would have to be Samuel L Jackson

"I'm your brother, motherf**ker!"

To be fair I might be more inclined to watch the Cosby version out of morbid curiosity.

And I like the Samuel L suggestion most of all so far.

This totally invalidates Twins' lore.

Sam Jackson would be great, but he probably has better things to do. Arnie, Danny, and Tracey really don't.

Clarke Peters would be good. He’s close enough in age.

No longer happening. Jason Reitman wasn’t interested in making it after his Dad died.

I mean, did anyone actually think this was ever really going to happen? We've been reading about a possible sequel for over 20 years. And if you did, I've got "The Goonies II" on line #2 for you.

I'm not shedding a tear about this.
